The Birchbox Weekender

Since we know how crazy-busy Monday through Friday can be, we’d like to take a little pressure off of the stressful question of how to spend this weekend. Here are a few particularly entertaining things we think you’d like partake in:

Mini-Breakfast Recipes

Skip the massive brunch crowds and whip up a dozen of these two-bite treats made with eggs and bacon baked into toasted bread. Still hungry? Try out these muffin-sized mini frittata cups while plotting your great breakfast sandwich tour of America.

Easy Springtime DIY

Real flowers never last as long as we wish they would (or even a week, sometimes). Usher in spring with some cheery paper flower DIY’s instead. Make a bouquet of coffee filter peonies for a whimsical addition to your dresser, or give the ombre plum blossoms a whirl for an attention getting centerpiece at your next gathering.

Street Style Flashback

Known today for his iconic on-the-street snaps of the most stylish denizens of New York, Bill Cunningham embarked on a project in 1968 where he dressed models in period costumes and photographed them in front of the city’s most iconic buildings. An exhibit of this earlier work just went on display at the New York Historical Society’s new exhibit. Can’t make it? Check out the must-see Cunningham: New York documentary on Netflix.
