Although indoor cycling (also called spinning) is a thing in many cities, it's most a thing in Los Angeles. Everyone from A-listers to Hollywood hopefuls have fully embraced the craze, which is why my 'hood is swarming with new, creative spinning studios at every turn. Given that the fitness trend is considered an integral part of everyone's beauty routine out here (sweating is good for the pores, you know), I've laid out the top five must-stops for both locals and out-of-towners.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. AuraCycle is LA's premiere psychedelic sweat fest. This is the place I take my fit friends visiting from out of town to showcase our flashiest of workouts. Powered by an incredible soundtrack and mind-blowing lightshow, this spot is like Space Mountain, and totally addictive.

Speaking of addictive, SoulCycle pretty much started it all. Although the celebrity-favored studio hails from New York, their West Coast digs fit right in here. This location in particular just opened up a few weeks ago and also has a retail boutique filled with fitness gear.
8599 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069; (310) 360-7200
This was the location for my second Racked Fit Club event, which is a fun workout group I started out here through my site, Racked LA. Our readers were obsessed with Flywheel's rad soundtrack, which featured everything from Madonna to IO Echo. Great beats really help the 45-minute session fly by.
624 N La Cienega Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069; (310) 358-0888
Here's another mega popular one. Chummy with local juice bar Pressed Juicery, Cycle House hosts tons of fun events that feature refreshing libations and conversations. In addition to the studio being spotless, their CRO (Chief Ride Officer) Nichelle Hines is a total fitness inspiration.
11049 Magnolia Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91601; (818) 287-3997
For NoHo folks, The Sweat Shoppe is where it's at. Many even say that it is the best spin studio in LA for its motivational instructors, supportive environment and booming beats. An all-business type of spot with little frills, this is where you
