We totally get it. There’s so much to do, and so little time—which is why we’ve put together our ultimate guide to making the most of every month. Here’s our list of the best things to do, watch, read, and try in April. (It goes without saying that you should carve out some time to read the latest issue of the Birchbox Magazine!)
After a torturous 10 months, [Mad Men](http://www.amctv.com/shows/mad-men finally returns on April 7 for the two-hour season 6 premiere. We're not sure what Jessica Paré (aka Mrs. Don Draper) means in the teaser video AMC released last month—"It's not what you think is coming. It's not coming in the way you thought it was coming, and it's probably not coming at all"—but we're already hooked.
Calling all comic book fans—your favorite femmes are finally getting the spotlight. This month, Marvel launches its first X-women series featuring some of our fave mutants: Storm, Rogue, Psylocke, and fireworks-spewing Jubilee. We remember each of them having particularly sassy personalities on their own, so we can't wait to see how explosive (and formidable) they are as a team.
As diehard Sriracha lovers, we have a vested interest in sampling any new hot sauces. Lately we're loving Gochujang, a Korean fermented chile paste that has layers of heat and just a tiny bit of sweetness. It jazzes up eggs, marinades, and stirfries and can also be added to your favorite condiments—kicked up ketchup anyone?
In honor of the music legend's 80th birthday April 29, we're declaring this Willie Nelson Month. His new album Let's Face the Music and Dance, featuring American standards from Irving Berlin and Carl Perkins and new tunes penned by the Red Headed Stranger himself, drops April 16. Until then, “I Never Cared for You,” “Last Thing I Needed First Thing This Morning,” and “City of New Orleans” are on heavy rotation at Birchbox HQ.

April marks Drop Everything and Read month (D.E.A.R.), a phrase you may recall from Beverly Cleary's iconic children's book Ramona Quimby, Age 8. With Cleary's own birthday on April 12 (happy 97th!), it's the perfect time to revisit old favorites. On our reading list: The Mouse and the Motorcycle, To Kill a Mockingbird, and A Wrinkle in Time.
