These easy tissue paper pompoms are the perfect way to add a pop of springtime color to any room or happy occasion. We made them for our Sneak Peek shoot and loved them so much that we wanted to show you how to make them too!
1. 6 to 10 sheets of bright tissue paper
(use layers of one color or layer different colors for a striped effect)
3. Florist wire
4. String for hanging
Stack the layers of tissue paper on top of one another and make sure they are all piled evenly. Then fold width-wise in a fan/accordion-like pattern.
Secure the center of the tissue with the florist wire.
Use your scissors to diagonally cut the corners off of each end of the tissue paper.
Carefully separate the tissue paper before you begin fluffing.
Fluff the tissue paper layers so they form a circular shape
Cut string to the desired hanging length.
Double knot the string onto the wire.
Hang wherever you’d like and bask in your cheery new spring décor!
