Ive had better

I have used only one other beard oil - the Mr.Natty's Frank Beard Elixir. I tried this one because you get a much larger amount for the price. Also, a lot of the reviews were, for the most part, positive. Allow me to shift the balance a little.
This oil has one redeeming quality. The cedar and bergamot smells amazing -----in the jar. The smell, as it lingers througout the day, doesnt maintain well. However, my biggest gripe with this product is it didnt sink into my skin as well as i would have liked and it left my beard quite greasy. Now, i know different body chemistries will react differently to the smell and absorbtion but I can honestly say that I dont like this particular product. I will try others as im adventurous and dont settle for not knowing if there is a better product out there. For this one, though....it's a definite no.

smells uh...

I've tried a few other beard oils through the BB samples so I became a fan rather than using pomade or conditioner that leaves me with a white residue. This oil smelled like Palo Santo smells IN THE BOTTLE but on the skin throughout the day stated to smell of gasoline or some type of mechanic workshop. I had to mix tangerine oil with this for a better smell. overall it does work for skin but I have yet to get the soft hair as of yet.

Softened up my fiance's beard

I bought this oil for my fiancé at Christmas, and it has improved the texture of his beard a lot. It smells kind of woodsy and herbal, which we both like. Word of caution: don't overuse this product if you have oily skin or acne issues - a drop will do for a short beard.

favorite beard oil

I've used several different oils and this is the best by far. It doesnt smell horrible like the rest and is effective for my beard.

I do really like the smell of this oil and it does seem to help with softening up the hair but I'm not sure how well it works long term.
