Grit may be essential to your persona, but it's optional when it comes to your face. This deep-cleaning marvel uses Glycolic acid to buff and exfoliate, without the coarse beads that can irritate skin. Volcanic ash and purifying clay enhance the cleansing effect, for a gentle, everyday scrub that still hits like a heavyweight. Call it the Gregory Peck of face washes: complex, powerful, and always refined.
My husband wanted to love the product but his face is getting very dried out and scaly. He will be trying another brand next.2
The consistency is a little weird. A bit like clay, mixed with lotion, and soap. The fragrance is earthy. I do think my face looks a little brighter...less dry skin, less clogged pores. Overall, I think it's good stuff!4
I'm not a fan of cleaners that don't lather. I feel like the clean is in the lather. I decided to try this product. It looks like a soft clay and goes on smooth. I think that it works, but my lather envy makes it difficult to sit about it from the roof tops. It also works as a mask. I'll probably use it as the mask more than a daily cleaner. If you can do without lather, give it a shot.4
Helped clear up my face immensely! However, I recently had a reaction to an expired can of sunscreen and I broke out in a rash that turned into small bumps on my chest, arms, and back. I used this product on it and left it on while I was in the shower and sure enough it's already clearing up! Also, the product doesn't dry your skin like others do. Would recommend to anyone with or without skin problems.5
I have never purchased a facial scrub or cleaner of any kind and my first experience with this one has been great. It removes the remains of the day without anything dramatic and leaves my face feeling clean without being dry.4
love this face wash i use it in the shower and my face looks great afterwards i also use it as a mask once a week i can tell a major difference in my complexion5
One of my absolute favorite face washes. As we age lines creep across our faces, this deep dive helps you in the fight. It also works great as a clay mask. The clay in the product may leave your skin dry, but if you include a moisturizer as part of your routine your skin will thank you! Use it!5
Not one for overly complicated grooming routines. I'm obsessed with Jack Black products. The Deep Dive Glycolic Facial Cleanser nails the requirements of uncomplicated and effective.
I don't use as a daily facial cleanser, rather I use as a deep cleaning mask 2 - 3 times per week. You apply to dry face, wait five minutes, and rinse off. Large pores, blackheads, redness, over time diminish. Large pores reduce, skin becomes firmed, fresh looking.
You cannot go wrong. The bottle lasts forever since it's something you may only use a couple times per week.
This stuff just works great. Really helps to reduce pore size and make your face feel extremely soft/clean afterwards. I've mainly used it as a weekly 10min mask, but have used it on a daily basis when i'd run out of regular gentle cleanser. It works best if you rinse off in the shower, as it can be rather difficult to get off your face at the sink.5
i've been tentatively exploring glycolic acid cleansers, and this one was alright. it was a little too abrasive for my sensitive skin, and the size was kind of small for the price. i like that it doubles as a mask, although i'm not sure how effective it is.4
