Safety razor blades might be economical, but that doesn’t mean they compromise on quality. These blades by Derby Extra serve as exceptional ammo for any standard safety razor. Each double-edged specimen is forged from Swedish steel, and at a value of 20 cents per blade, their price will impress just as much as their edge.
These razors are good but not great. They work well but the price the not match compare to other competitors like shark or feather. I suggest to just by a 100 razor pack from amazon.3
Found these as a cheaper replacement to the ones hubby was using. He's had zero complaints about them, so that's great!! Will definitely purchase again in the future!!4
When I first started buying and using these blades, I liked them. However, over the last few months I have noticed the consistency of quality of these blades leaves MUCH to be desired. Some blades are excellent, and I can get several good shaves out of them. Others - the majority it seems - are NOT good, and the first shave with a new blade is more pulling, less cutting of my facial hair. I finally just threw away the last 10 blades out of frustration. I will not buy these again.1
Very good blade. I found it to last longer than two weeks with everyday shaving. Can find better value but in general, this is a very good blade.4
These blades are okay. I thought they were a good starting point for someone getting into safety razor shaving, but I would not use them beyond those first few shaves. Great practice to get down a proper technique before trying the sharper blades that could cut your face.2
Before I started letting my beard grow out I used these blades. Was quite pleased with them. I would definitely recommend these for purchase.4
This is my first experience with this type of razor and razor blade. This blade didn't feel very smooth like I have heard about with other types of blades. I could feel it getting hung up a couple of times, and I ended up with some small nicks on my neck.
Overall I got a close shave with these blades, but I hope to find a more smooth experience elsewhere.
I had been using the same brand of blades for years, but I think i'm going to switch. They are a good fit for my grandfathers razor; They are pretty great by my standards.5
Derby makes a good blade. If you are new to wet shaving, this might be the way to go. You can get closer and more aggressive with Feather blades, but if you don't want to risk nicking yourself, this is the one you want.4
I've used a lot of different safety razor blades and I would not recommend these to most people. They are less sharp than a lot of other brands. Some people say that they help with sensitive skin, but I don't have this problem so I couldn't say for sure.3
