If you miss spending your summer days with nothing but time to kill and a packet of Pop Rocks, then you’ll be happy to find these Effervescent Breath Crystals, which attack halitosis with the ferocity of that sweet, crackling candy. The science rests on a mix of bacteria-fighting ingredients that, when in contact with germ-filled teeth and gums, erases the effects of embarrassing odors caused by things like coffee, onions, and garlic with a series of mini-mouth explosions.
...fun, minty, effervescent. How bad could they be? Well, it's all fun and games until you realize that most of the box has lost its fizz after a couple of weeks, and the sorbitol gives you gas, so any gains you might make with fresh breath are negated by the aromas (and sounds) erupting from your back end. Not pretty. Good idea, but not at all pretty.1
Tried the honey mint flavor. These are basically pop rocks with strange flavors. I would much rather have a regular mint any day. My cubicle mate wondered what I was up to because of the popping sound!!1
These were very odd to say the least. The flavors were not bad at all. But pop rock mints? I'd rather just chew gum. My BIGGEST problem with these is that the directions state to swish it around your mouth and rub them against your teeth. DO NOT rub it against your teeth. OUCH...1
an interesting idea - pop rocks to get fresh breath. but, it's not effective. also the flavors are kind of disappointing.1
Although I love peppermint flavors I did not like these. I do not like my breath mints to pop like candy and I cannot tell much difference after using them. I was sent samples of both peppermint and honey mint but one was enough for me. I will not be sampling the honey mint.1
I wasn't a fan of Pop Rocks as a kid, and these are more violent than those. they hurt my tounge and felt weird on my teeth. and it didn't make my mouth feel fresh, or taste minty. I only tried 1 of the 2 samples, I threw the other one away.1
I have to say, this product is strange. I am probably just going to stick to my regular gum and mints for two reasons; one being that these are expensive, and the second being that these were actually kind of uncomfortable in my mouth.2
These mints are interesting and I never heard of it before. Like others have mentioned it reminds me of pop rocks. I honestly wouldn't use these mints to a regular one.2
Reminds me of Pop Rocks! Great product. But I prefer regular gum or mints. Was not as powerful as I thought it would be.2
I didn't dislike the breath crystals-they tasted pretty good, but I wouldn't choose them over a regular mint. They are very much like pop rocks.2
