Perfect name for a perfect product. I love to wake up to this smell every morning. So light and woodsy in aroma. I just love it.
I like the refreshing scent but the size is rather small. I'd like option for larger bottles. It's not so convenient to have to continually order body wash. It's far easier to drive to a store to grab some. If there were a larger bottle I'd be less inclined to buy anything else.3
I got the body wash sample and immediately ordered the gel and lotion. It smells so good and makes my skin feel very soft and smooth. Love this predoct.5
I must say I'm very impressed for the quality of this item, my boyfriend uses it all the time and I could not be happier thank you birchbox, the only problem tends to be out of stock, please don't let me run out keep the store stocked up with this love it5
If you can still order it, order both. You will be happy that you did. The shower gel is great and will leave you refreshed with soft skin. The lotion will keep it that way. Both can be used all over. I really like the lotion on my face after a shave.5
This is the best body wash I have ever used. The only thing I like nearly as much is the peppermint shower gel from CO Bigelow, which has the same clean, refreshing, purely minty--rather than sweet and fake--smell but for some reason includes parabens (possibly has something to do with the electric blue color)? I'm not allergic to parabens and fillers, but I have very dry skin which does not react well to the cheaper stuff. This is rich and moisturizing. It's expensive, but completely worth it due to the superior nature of the product. I really appreciate a company that trusts consumers to enjoy the smell of just plain old rosemary and mint, instead of giving us musky gooey vanilla sugar gingerbread lemon icecream raspberry fluff. I want a bath product that a grown woman can use in the morning, not an ice cream sundae flavor designed by a toddler.5
The scent creates a spa atmosphere to your morning routine. The Rosemary and mint are both soothing and invigorating, but not overpowering in any way.4
I've never encountered rosemary in a shower gel, and it was a pleasant surprise. Kinda felt like I was cooking. The lather was gentle and left a pleasant light rosemary scent.
Makes you feel like you're having a relaxing day at the spa!
"Wake Up" is no joke. The smell of this stuff when you throw it on your favorite washcloth or loofah has almost the same effect as fresh brewed coffee. In the end, the body wash leaves you smelling great, and feeling clean and refreshed. Post shower, throw a little lotion on for more great smells and more fresh feeling!4
I agree with the other reviewer, this stuff is wonderful for sensitive skin. I had a skin infection recently and my normal body wash was not cutting it, so I tried this instead. It did a few things: (1) It gives a nice tingling feeling as it is working -- it feels nice without being abrasive at all, (2) it leaves my skin feeling very cool, relaxed, and nourished afterwards, (3) it smells great!, and (4) it seemed to do a part in actually healing the skin afterwards -- sounds crazy but that was my perception time and time again, and (5) it was irritating. On my normal skin it was fine, but it really dried out my skin around the sensitive part, feeling almost as if I had put rubbing alcohol on the skin. For normal to sensitive skin this would work well, but I would be careful if you are extremely sensitive or if you have a skin condition.
In reply to the ingredients, there are lots of wonderful things in here. They are not, however, all essential oils as the other reviewer stated. This does contain things like glycerin, benzyl alcohol, PEG-7 glyceryl cocate, etc. -- not harmful ingredients and widely used, but definitely not rosemary and mint extract either.
