No matter how good they smell, many shampoos can strip hair of moisture and leave it as dry as barnyard hay. Not so with this gentle formula, which quenches locks from roots to tips with Oribe’s unique complex of proteins, vitamins, and plant extracts. And yes, it smells quite nice.
The shampoo is fine, but it is nothing that makes me want to switch from my regular shampoo. I also did not like the smell, so that was another turn off.3
To me, just seemed like a normal shampoo. I read the description about what the shampoo contains and that makes me feel good, but I can't tell is the UV defense actually has an affect or not. Great list of ingredients though.3
seems like a great shampoo but the sample size was tiny and only enough for one wash so i could get an idea for how well it worked.3
Average shampoo. Did not notice anything special. Cleaned my hair well.3
I can't really say too much about this product because I was only send enough to use it once... last months 2 oz bottle of shampoo was better3
The smell is awesome! After applying the product to my hair I kept lathering waiting for white foam to rinse off. I guess the foam isn't necessary. I did enjoy the scent, like I said Awesome!3
My stylist usually uses the Signature Shampoo/Conditioner, which I love, but I didn't want to splurge on the more expensive cleansing products, so I went with the cheapest in the line. I like the Gentle line because I don't feel like it weighs down my hair, yet it remains soft and shiny.4
Really nice smell. Sample size was tiny and only one use. Nice product.4
I have very little hair so this product was kind of obsolete for me. I think it works alright and has a decent smell but was not a great thing for me.4
I've been a shampoo snob before, buying shampoo that costed an arm and a leg. Brands like Aveda, Bumble and Bumble, Arrojo...etc. Until my boyfriend made me tag-a-long with to Target to buy him a new shampoo set.
Little did I know that regular shampoo like Garnier and Pantene cost $5 per bottle. I instantly gave up that 'lifestyle' of paying $50 for shampoo and conditioner...my money would be better used elsewhere.
Back to the review...
Upon using this shampoo, it's definitely better than anything that I've used. Aveda shampoo always leaves my hair smelling weird at the end of the day. Garnier just strips my hair of all of its nutrients and oils. Bumble's conditioner is so thick it weighs my hair down...but Oribe is a bit different.
I use a mild amount of hair product and by the end of the day, the combined scalp oil usually requires 2 small washes of shampoo to get everything out. Oribe only took one. It lathered up nicely and left my hair clean.
Only a little shampoo is required. It smells gender neutral. Not too flowery, not too musky. It also isnt over powering and doesn't leave my hair smelling weird at the end of the day.
I would consider buying this product...but then I think about how expensive it really is...then I think twice. But i definitely would recommend it my friends.
