We brush our teeth twice a day without fail, but we always find ourselves in a bit of a bind right after snacks and meals. Since we’re not about to give up snacking, we freshen our breath with these convenient mouthwash packets. They’re filled with a proprietary powder that neutralizes odors while gently removing surface stains—just add water to the pouch to create a single-dose rinse.
It was gritty and I hated that I had to spit it out while someone could see. I mean, if I had a sink, I would have just brushed my teeth (even one of those disposable colgate tiny toothbrushes can be used while driving). A piece of gum is so much more convenient and polite (no spitting required).2
I like the idea that the packet itself is the vessel to make and use the mouthrinse. Aside from being a sweet and slightly minty rinse, I don't think that it freshened my breath nearly as well as a Colgate Wisp, which is as portable and much more effective.2
I love the idea of powdered mouthwash for on the go. If I wasn't such a homebody and wasn't someone that carried my own oral care "kit" with me everywhere it could work, but it tastes badly I would rather use plain mouthwash with alcohol (but it doesn't bother me) I have passed on the second pouch to a friend that mentioned that she hates how mouthwash burns and she loves it. So I will recommend it for people to try but it is not for me.2
I thought it would me mintier. I felt like it left a bad taste in my mouth. But I loooove the idea of a powder mouth wash to keep in your purse. So easy and convenient! :-)2
I tried this product this morning in lieu of brushing my teeth to see how it felt. The directions were vague and the solution didn't mix with water in the packet well. The packaging could be a lot better, maybe a cup instead of a packet? The powder just stuck to the bottom and in the corners. Also, it tasted awful :(2
It was alright, but I already have mouthwash I love! Powdered stuff is a bit of extra effort that doesn't need to happen.2
I'm still not quite sure what to make of this. I was excited to try something from this brand, but just don't really have much use for a powdered mouthrinse. Nice for travelling, maybe? Using the product was a little weird - I had to fill & swirl it at least 3 times to get most of the residue out of the packet. So, eh. Still pretty fun to try a new product like this, and would love to try the toothpaste! Thanks!2
A mouthrinse just isn't the kind of thing I'm excited about getting in my Birchbox. Unexciting, uninteresting.2
It was less of a mint taste and more of a baking soda taste. It was also hard to open, as the plastic lining stretched instead of tearing.2
The convenience of them are great. My husband liked them more this I did.2
