Listen up, all you would-be Paul Bunyans: You dont have to scrub your beard with spit and sand to prove that youre hardboiled. This simple wash cleanses, detangles, and fortifies your beard with plant-based conditioners like soy protein and green tea extract, plus the nourishing moisture of aloe and honey. Whether youre rocking some 5-day scruff, or 5-month winter whiskers, this comely cleanser will ensure you look your best.
This was a bit weird to see in my box this month because I don't even have a beard but I did put a little in my hand to see how it lathers and smells which kinda made me wish I did have a beard.1
If one were to have a real beard, I could see having a specific shampoo for the beard, but as I trim down to the 3rd notch on my trimmer, my beard isn't long enough to justify owning this. It smelled fine and had good texture, but I don't see why a regular shampoo/conditioner wouldn't work.1
i do not have a beard so it is not very effect for me1
I'm not sure why I would use this? If I didn't think my face soap wasn't enough, why wouldn't shampoo be ok?1
I don't have a beard, so this product really does not apply to me.1
I'm not one who wears a beard, so the product really wasn't useful/necessary to me. It did have a nice scent and texture though. But with nothing more than a weeks growth (for sake of trying the product) I'm sure it wasn't ideal.1
This was less than impressive, felt no upgrade over regular shampoo1
Who needs another thing to put in their bathroom? If you are one who raised your hands, go ahead and purchase this "Beard Wash". I feel like a facial cleanser will do just as good of a job as this wash, saving you $$$ and space in your bathroom.1
This product wasn't worth it in my opinion. I felt it was a waste of money as it felt like nothing more than regular shampoo.1
I think Birchbox is trying to tell me that I need to grow a beard because this is the second time in two months that they have sent me a product for guys with beards. Although I don't always shave every day, I've never had a full beard and will never have one that would require me to actually use this product. Even if I had a beard, I really don't understand the point of having a "beard wash." I would think regular shampoo and/or conditioner would world just fine. I'm also a little nervous to see what kind of ridiculous "beard product" they will send me next month.1
