For cool factor, you can’t do better than this unisex scent from NY-based BLK DNM. Created by BLK DNM founder Johan Lindeberg, a fashion industry force, the unconventional blend is as edgy as the brand’s fashions. It’s a spicy blend of musk and black pepper that will set you apart.
This fragrance is by the the most unique scent I have ever smelled. I'm obsessed. I wear it everywhere and would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants an edgy unisex smell. Very sexy.5
At first I wasn't keen on it, but as the day went on I started loving it. It's musky, spicy, a little sweet, and reminds me of an ex-boyfriend. It's leather and lace. Since it's a heavy perfume don't drench yourself in it or the musk note becomes overwhelming. A little dab lasted a good 4-6 hours on me. Of course, scent is incredibly subjective.5
I tend to like non-floral scents and this swept me away. I like the sample so much I bought the full size! It has a sort of edgy vibe, so different from most other scents in the marketplace. It reminds me of leather, tobacco...with an overall richness. Definitely not a kiddy-smelling scent or girlie...more for someone sure of themselves, willing to forge their singular identity.5
This perfume is the reason they should invent a perfume eraser. As soon as I had it on I wanted to take it off. It's very, very heavy with a hint of sweetness, and just wasn't for me. Lots of smells going on here. Might be good for covering up cigarette smoke.1
I don't know how I first heard about this fragrance but the first time I sampled it, I was intrigued. It is fresh! But spicy. It is floral! But a little musky. If you really wanted to compare it to something, I would compare it to a very popular unisex fragrance launched in the mid-nineties. But in balance to that comparison, Blk Dnm is a fresher, spicier scent.
This is not a sweet scent, and it isn't too perfume-y (no notes of sugar on one end, or ambergris on the other.) So if either of those are your preference, I would not recommend this.
Bottom line: If you love the way your boyfriend's grooming products smell but worry that you'll smell, well, too much like a dude, or you are looking for a modern fragrance that is both grown-up and fresh, this is it.
I feel like too many women's fragrances are strong and powdery...or on the flip side, too young and gourmand. This is spicy and masculine (which i love.) Its attracts attention and curiosity from those close enough. Of the 23572035947 perfume samples I have, this was the single one that I chose to purchase.5
It's a wonderful spicy scent for women like me who don't like smelling like a produce stand or a funeral home.5
it did not smell well and the packaging was very decieving make it look like it was going to be a bigger sample bottle, and it did not smell right.1
Some of my friends love patchouli more than me. They would definitely appreciate this musk!1
I am finicky when it comes to perfumes so it didn't really have a chance with me. It's more to my daughter's taste...too sweet for me.2
