Though you may spend your days bedecked in a bearskin, even woodsmen have the right to clean up nice. This tie bar is the perfect accent for a trapper in a suit, with a stained birch wood finish and simple design that balances looks and subtlety.
I actually was just complimented on this tie clip last week! It is a great and unexpected touch to wear with a shirt and tie.4
There's always that one occasion where this bar would go great with what your wearing. Especially during the summer time. This one would fit that during that period.4
I don't wear ties a ton, but when I do, I can't really argue with a change of pace that still emanates class. It's a bit more down to earth, but good construction and a safety net from the overdone metal clips everyone else wears, especially if you like to dress up and down and like something versatile. Plus, it matches my anchor pocket square. Perfect.5
I wear this tie bar often (mine has 3 lines instead of the anchor) and it gets mentioned by passers-by every time. It seems very sturdy, despite other reviews I've seen. Works great with skinny ties!5
The wood was beautiful, but the tie bar fell apart the first time I opened the clip. I could see that it was very lightly glued together and was just not a great quality.1
This tie clip looks pretty cool and goes with most things, though the adhesive came undone in very short order. Just needed to re-glue and it was useful again.4
Good accessory. Went to a few wedding recently. This was a good addition to my clothes. Simple and clean, can go with anything.4
I thought this bar would be a little funky to wear to a wedding I went to recently, but I decided to go with it anyway. It got the attention of my 86-year old grandfather who was not only impressed that I was wearing a tie bar, but also that it was made of wood. It's really a cool piece that provides an interesting twist to my wardrobe.5
This is one of those throw-ins that could have almost been too silly / gimmicky, but I actually really like this and have worn it around once a week with my more earthy shirt / wool tie combos. We are nearing cultural overload on the sailor / anchor as a sign of hip new masculinity thing, but this one snuck in under the wire.5
I've been getting so many compliments about this tie bar, people coming up saying "is that wood" it's been a good conversation starter. It's also a good because of it's casual nature for a dressed up dressed down look. I will be buying more5
