This scrub-cleanser hybrid is gritty enough to remove dead skin, yet gentle enough to nourish what’s underneath. Hydrating as it exfoliates, it includes sunflower glycerides and lactic acid to downplay aging and sun damage. Rich in skin-brightening antioxidants, this formula even lifts stubble to prep skin for shaving and prevent ingrown hairs.
When I first got a sample of this I thought 'This is the difference between men and women: you create an exfoliating scrub for women you focus on gentle, organic, natural moisturizing ingredients. With men you can simply say "Here is some dirt to rub on your face to scrape away your dead skin."'
While I really like this product, I have learned since purchasing it that the plastic "sand" they use is actually causing problems for water treatment plants and fish so, sadly, until they reformulate the product with something like actual sand I will not be purchasing this again. A real disappointment, but such is life.
Not the greatest face scrubby thing I've ever used. Even after use I still would have acne, etc. Other brands have done better, and I'm not a huge fan of the scent.3
It is not overly rough on the skin like some are. My skin looked clearer the next day.4
Last month i got the lava scrub from Billy Jealousy. It works great and has a great smell. This felt similar, but just didn't do the same trick and this has plastic beads in it..4
I like products from this company in general and this product tows that line as well. Little grit is a good exfoliated.5
Nice scrub. Good consistency and left my skin feeling soft, clean and scrubbed!5
husband loves this product and wipe purchase in the future
Love the smell and the fact that it is a mild exfoliator.4
I liked it... not as much as what I used now. But it does the trick.4
The name definitely explains it all. Grainy, so basically between a wash and a scrub. Definitely enjoying, but surprised the first use how texture was.4
