Part scrub and part cleanser, this smart hybrid is gritty enough to remove dead skin, yet gentle enough to nourish the fresh layer underneath. Hydrating as it exfoliates, it includes naturally moisturizing sunflower glycerides, plus lactic acid, which lessens fine lines and sun damage. Finally, antioxidants from morus nigra leaf extract make skin look healthier overall. This formula even lifts stubble to prep skin for shaving and mimize ingrown hairs.
This is a tough-working exfoliant, however I prefer something more natural and expected better from Billy Jealousy. They shouldn't be using micro-beads that are bad for the environment2
And the trend continues with this stinky, slimy, scrub. It smells a bit like a dishrag that's been sitting by your kitchen sink too long. I used it twice (trying to give it a chance), and then tossed it. Not worth the $$.2
I'm not big on physical exfoliants, so the sandy texture was unwelcome. Much too harsh.2
The odor is faint but unpleasant and i know it's an exfoliant but it feels too much like sand. I fear the exfoliating beads are not natural and may cause harm to sensitive skin. Not worth the price for me.2
Honestly, this was like rubbing sheets of sandpaper all over my face. I understand the nature of the product and what it is intended for, but it was not something that I enjoyed doing or will be doing again.2
I don't use special cleansers on my face especially gritty ones. Plain soap and water is all you need.2
Smells like now&laters candy that you rub on your face. Also I was disappointed there was no actual sand. I do not recommend it, unless you like rubbing old candy on your face.2
This exfoliator worked well and I plan on using it again.2
This face wash left my face feeling dry and brittle, it's a good thing my box this month also came with moisturizer. The scrubby bits feel good in the shower, but on the whole the product left me feeling like I had just had botox, in the worst way. I couldn't move my cheeks or forehead without feeling like part of my face was going to crack off because of how dry it was. The smell was decent, but that's less important than the ability to clean my face without drying it out.2
Not a fan of the brand at all, either too minty or body spray like smell. I have sensitive skin and the exfoliation was a little irritating.2
