This scrub-cleanser hybrid is gritty enough to remove dead skin, yet gentle enough to nourish what’s underneath. Hydrating as it exfoliates, it includes sunflower glycerides and lactic acid to downplay aging and sun damage. Rich in skin-brightening antioxidants, this formula even lifts stubble to prep skin for shaving and prevent ingrown hairs.
This product is totally fine, but I have another one (introduced to me by Birchbox) that I like better. And the brand name is Billy Jealousy. I mean, come on. I don't usually write off anything just because of its name, but it's hard to feel like a normal guy with a bathroom full of Billy Jealousy products.2
Nice product . My skin felt fresh and exfoliated. The scent was masculine, but not over powering, which was an added bonus.2
The stuff smells alright but not enough for me to switch from Keihls. The brand looks like something more for adolescents who are into anime or something.2
I liked the product, but they use micro beads which are not environmentally friendly. I would like this product more if they switched to a more natural abrasive.2
Billy Jealousy's bottle is very handsome however the smell is not. Reminds me of new plastic smell. Was not pleasant. HOwever, as a face product I enjoyed it. The sand like texture of the lotion was great for exfoliating and my face always felt smoother after using it. Was not too rough because it was so fine. The smell was a big turn off though, if it was different would highly recommend.2
I liked the end result of the product, but I didn't dig the sand/beads that scratched on the face. I know it is necessary to help remove dead skin, but I think I am going to pass next time...2
For the most part it does it's job but the plastic beads are little offsetting weird doesn't smell bad clean your face2
I have to admit that this product really nails it when it comes to simulating the sensation promised in its name. However, I will not use it and cannot recommend it to anyone solely because it contains polyethylene micro-beads. The gritty sand texture in this cleanser is achieved with plastic particles that are commonly found in many cosmetic products on the market, and thus contribute to plastic water pollution. Besides this disappointing issue, the cleaning was adequate and the scent was ok, but that's it, nothing special. Honestly, I think there are better scrubs out there that use renewable organic materials, like crushed nut shells or rice to exfoliate. Hopefully Billy Jealousy will eventually rethink the plastic.2
The product works, but smells fake and manufactured...not natural at all.2
This was an okay face cleanser, it was a little too harsh for my sensitive skin, it didn't work well for me, but I can't judge things that are a little harsh.2
