Housed in smoky glass with a spring top reminiscent of a vintage beer bottle, John Varvatos’ cologne, like his designs, exudes a combination of off-kilter downtown cool and elegant prep. Also available in a smaller, 1.7 oz version.
IF you're looking for cologne, this is a good one. It's not aggressive in scent, it's pleasant, and unoffensive, but it's strong enough to notice. I'd say one or two squirts is great, and definitely worth it if you're going for a night out.4
This smell was decent. The trial size and packaging was good. Smell was a little too crisp for me.3
This stuff smells fantastic! I love it. The only downside is that it doesn't last long. Really, I put a generous bit on while leaving the gym today, and by the time I got home my wife could barely tell I was wearing it.3
I'm sensitive to stronger scents so this one seemed a little much to me but still is probably one many would like. I still appreciate the opportunity to try it.3
I didnt think it was anything special, but often times a scent will grow on me3
The initial smell, on a tester, is a wonderful mix of pre-fall smells. It did not, however, wear well on me; the vetyver and clean notes dissipated within minutes, leaving a smell that was musky and spicy, but not necessarily in a good way.3
Just not my scent. I had several compliments on it, though.3
My girlfriend wasn't a fan of the smell. I thought it was ok though.3
this is a nice smelling cologne, but it just doesn't fit my husband's personality. i think it will be a great fragrance for another man.3
I am pretty picky about cologne and the sort. I honestly dont think this stuff is very impressive. It just doesnt smell like a unique, premium quality perfume.3
