This is the Jack Bauer of bar soaps. Unlike less manly versions, this exfoliating bar takes a forceful approach to dry and dead skin, sloughing it away with gritty oat bran and kernels. You’ll feel clean and refreshed, ready for whatever the day throws at you.
I love the oatmeal in the soap, its great for rubbing off dead skin. It also smells great. Most bars of soap usually leave this nasty residue.5
My boyfriend loves this soap. I think mostly because it smells like his favorite drink, gin and tonic. But it also cleans him well, and he doesn't work a desk job. A great bar of soap for a man who gets dirty at work.5
If a grizzly bear and Bruce Lee were to produce a bar soap, then this would be the end result. Mean clean (grizzly) with a refined finish (Bruce Lee). This stuff is the real deal.5
It needs a stick in it so I can reach the rest of my back. It would seriously be the best back-scratcher ever. It's a little rough to use every day, but every few days it feels awesome.5
Kiehl's Ultimate Man Body Scrub Soap. If this soap were actually a real man, he'd go around all day wrestling bears, capturing terrorists, and punching the sun in the face. That should be Kiehl's next advertising campaign.
Overall, the soap is great, but it does have drawbacks. It's legit tree bark encased in a sudsy delivery system. Who needs a feminine, pink loofah when you have this veritable sanding block in the palm of your hand? That alone is reason to use it. The scent is manly, yet gentle at the same time. Think of a grizzly lumberjack wearing a cashmere scarf.
The drawbacks? It's not particularly sudsy when compared to a loofah and body wash. Yes, that goes without saying because most bars of soap aren't as sudsy. This was particularly NOT sudsy. The bits of gravel and pure testosterone also tend to block erosion in certain parts of the bar, creating high, really rough spots that end up "scratching." You have to constantly look at the bar and remove the bits that stick up too much with your fingernail.
I'd recommend this soap to anyone who regularly thinks about dynamite, sledge hammers, and shark boxing. The soap might be more of a hit if they changed the name from "Ultimate Man Body Scrub Soap" to "Soap. Shut Up and Use it."
This soap is great! I can feel it rubbing away the dead skin cells. After the shower my skin feels smooth and great!5
I loved this soap, not too rough, it was just enough to scrub the rough spots without irritating the soft ones.5
I was surprised to see the acne on my back disappear after using this soap for a week. This is a good, high quality product and I'm glad I discovered it.5
It made my fiance's skin feel nice and fresh. It also smelled very nice!5
This product is amazing! Good lather and cleansing, PERFECT amount of exfoliation, and not drying at all. Lives you smooth and clean, with a slight amount of lavender/citrus/mint left on your skin.5
