With everything we do to our hair—the constant coloring, the blow-drying, the chemical straightening—there are times we think we should just put it out of its misery with a drastic chop. But this restorative shampoo lets us give our strands a new lease on life (without having to regrow them from a pixie cut). This formula is handmade in Texas, and based around ingredients grown in the state: aloe vera to hydrate and soften hair, sunflower seed oil to protect from heat, and rose of Jericho to perk up tired strands. UV filters keep color from fading. What's more, it's without phosphates (so its safe for keratin-treated hair) or sulfates (so its perfect for color-treated 'dos too)—meaning we can keep on enjoying the look we dyed and fried our hair for in the first place.
I am not a huge fan of the smell. Also, the bottles are hard and not easy to squeeze product out.2
Loved the product, the smell, it gave my hair a great look, and it felt so good and alive. I think this is a keeper for me.5
I am so glad I received the conditioner with this shampoo so I could get the real feel of how both work. The smell of the shampoo was great and the size of the sample was great too because I did not only get one use, but rather two which really helped in seeing if the product was good or not.5
Smells really good and leaves my hair feeling very soft and clean. It's thick, but as soon as it suds up in your hair, you can start to feel your hair becoming softer. It also adds volume and shine. I definitely recommend this!4
Yes i do well my hair really does!! its true. such an awesome product I love the ingridents and the smell is to die for its truly a must have5
The bottle is pretty but that is about the only thing good about this shampoo/conditioner duo--the bottle is actually too hard and not squeezable so the shampoo is hard to get out--not that much of a problem for me since my husband asked me to throw it out since he couldn't stand the smell of it. Not happy with this product.1
I actually really liked this product. thought it smelled great and also left my hair feeling rejuvenated. I would recommend this product.5
It smells like aveda and works great! Nice clean feeling5
It was great on my hair. But most importantly, I LOVE the scent. I loved that I could smell it as I went to sleep, and then even the next day. As others have alluded to, being a teen product of the 70s, definintely "Clark" must have been a hippie. Love the smell! Will order!5
This shampoo isn't bad, I didn't dislike it, it's just not what my hair needs, which is keratin-like products to tame the frizzies.3
