We desperately try to adhere to the less-is-more philosophy, and Dr. Jart's Water Fuse Beauty Balm helps us minimize our routine. A moisturizer, sunscreen, and treatment serum all-in-one, this tinted BB cream even helps hide imperfections—so there's no need for foundation or cover-up. Made with 50 percent water, the brand's Advanced Water Bead Technology helps hydrate and maintain healthy moisture for a dewy, fresh look, with additonal help from hyaluronic acid and aloe vera. Sebum-regulating ingredients keep your complexion from becoming greasy, and the broad-spectrum SPF 25+ blocks harmful UVA and UVB rays. Free of sulfates and phthalates.
I normally do not wear foundation, tinted moisturizer, or BB cream because I don't really need it.
When I first sampled this product in my birchbox, I was amazed how flawless it made my skin look. This really blew my mind, since it wasn't matched specifically to my skintone. I purchased a full size and use it on special occasions when I want my skin to look absolutely perfect, but not in an overly made-up way. I also appreciate that it does not deposit on other people's clothes when I hug them.
My only complaint is that it does make me break out if I wear it for a few days in a row.
I wanted to try a Dr. jart BB Cream, so I chatted with a Birchbox Rep. Based on my skin type, she recommended this one. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THONGS ABOUT THIS PRODUCT:)
It's application goes on a little pale and stiff, but a few minutes later you'll have an even, perfect all-over glow. It also helps improve your skin. Not all BB Creams are created equal. dr. Jart is the one!
This is probably my favorite BB cream I'e ever tried. It is great to have an all in one, especially the sunscreen. Living in Florida I need sunscreen year around. But, a lot of sunscreen and foundations with SPF feel very heavy, especially during the humid summers. This one is incredibly light and hydrating.5
This blends well into my very, very fair skin. I like that it offers some sun protection. It doesn't feel greasy either, which I was afraid of.5
I was really impressed with this BB cream and am definitely buying the full size. I like that it was thin and applied nicely to my face after applying my moisturizer. I would wear this with nothing underneath but my skin tends to dry out without a solid moisturizer. I've had no problems with it separating and doesn't show lines. The color was perfect for my skin and I often use this as my foundation.5
I love the product, it does protect and moisturize my skin, excellent! The only downfall is the color, it is like a beige tone and I am a golden honey warm color, but that's not problem at all. I do mix it with my liquid foundation and I get a foundation that actually protects my skin. Win win!4
I had a bad experience with BB creams being to thin and running so I was happy to receive this one. It had a nice consistency and I ended up ordering the full sized bottle.5
This product was too thick and light colored for my skin color. I was unable to wear it, as I prefer the natural look.
Lots of chemicals in the ingredients as well. I guess I need only CC creams, not the BB cream for younger skin types.
When I received my first sample of this I adored it.I ordered the full size & began to question my choice .I discovered this works best with a little clear primer & smaller amounts of this balm.I use it as a foundation .It has light even coverage & a little bit of illumination. It does not seem to settle in the creases & I am happy with the SPF aspect.I think it probably works best with fair skin.5
I loved this BB cream when I first bought it, but I quickly found it would separate. It depends on what you have on underneath, but I think the formula must be unstable. It will interact with your moisturizer and become an oil slick or hard to absorb. Other times if I didn't wear anything underneath it seemed fine. I'm not sure if something was wrong with mine, but I definitely did not keep it. The color and coverage was pretty good. Just be careful what you wear underneath it.3
