Leave your yoga notions at the door—it’s time to talk about outer balance. This shampoo controls overactive sebaceous glands, which can leave hair greasy, heavy, and generally out-of-whack. Regular use will restore harmony to your scalp…no Namaste required.
I've had oily hair my entire life. I used to rely on baby powder and now dry shampoo is my go-to product. Summer can be dreadful for me as my normally oily hair turns into an oil slick. I've been searching far and wide for a shampoo that could actually help me. Most shampoos are just reactive and help with washing away the oil. I was looking for seething more proactive and that worked to prevent the oil.
This is the first product I've tried that does seem to really help! I only use it a max of three times a week, but I find myself looking forward to the days that I get to use it! Every morning I still spray a light dusting of dry shampoo in my hair to prevent the oil, but Ive noticed that the shampoo does a miraculous job of keeping the oil away. It might not be perfect, but this shampoo is the closest thing I've found as a solution that solves my oily hair situation. I see myself using this product for years to come, unless seething even better comes along!
You won't be disappointed if you try it - I promise!
As someone who struggles with dandruff this product is a necessity.5
I got a sample of this item in my birchbox. I got plenty of uses out of it and plan to buy it once the sample runs out. The shampoo does a great job of cleaning and smells good too.5
Good shampoo - smells great and helps in the awakening process - probably not right for my hair type (I don't have especially oily hair) but I do like the product.4
I am a big fan of Davines shampoos and conditioners. This particular one I bought after having read some amazing reviews. So I have an extremely oily scalp with dry ends! pheww. The first time I used this shampoo I could not really figure anything different. But from second time on I did notice the difference. This shampoo does not produce a lot of lather. But apply a dollop each to the nape of your neck, crown and each temple. Use your fingertips to then massage the scalp.
And as you work your shampoo through your scalp you will notice it cleansing all the build up. Also the herb smell of the product is very therapeutic. Its a good product! Not really a total solution provider for my hair type, but one of those kind of products which you feel happy about using with fairly decent results!
When I got this (huge) sample, I was a little suspicious. I had never heard of this brand, the shampoo was pretty runny, and it seemed to promise a lot. Turns out it's really great. It may not "strengthen thinning hair" or whatever it claims, but it smells good, lathers well, rinses clean, and leaves my hair incredibly soft and manageable. I've moved away from expensive shampoos of late, but this one might bring me back into the fold.5
i like it. i like that its for oily scalp. it smells good.4
Smells quite nice, maybe a hint of nutmeg. Leave it in for maybe 2-4 mins and it seriously does stimulate your hair. I've noticed it has started to help with hair loss... I had about 20-30 hairs "falling out per day" and now it's more like 15 and going down.. So, I like it :)5
The texture of this product is quite thin, but once you get used to that, it's easy to stretch out this sample. The initial scent is almost medicinal or spicy, but it reminds me of something that I can't quite figure out--perhaps something of my grandfather's. Overall, another great sample from Birchbox.5
It smells great. Makes my hair look thicker. I'm definitely a fan.5
