Simply put - fantastic. Im a bit skeptical of most exfoliating bar soaps simply due to a few issues I take with the exfoliating agents used in varying soaps. For example: I've had more than one such bar (My brain has thoughtfully wiped the specifics from memory but I'm fairly certain this particular bar was specifically marketed towards men. As such, using it was sold as a 'manly' endeavor and apparently us men enjoy walking that delicate tightrope that exists between a cathartic exfoliating aspect to our regular routine...and laceration at the hands of what I believe bits of sand and I think I remember seeing old bits of plastic.
The gang at Baxter though? Pfffft. They aint got time with that nonsense; not when you're changing the game when it comes to an exfoliating bar (for men?). I'll let them tell you the cool/nerdy info on all the fancy stuff thats inside the soap. For what its worth, I found the soap to be al sorts of exemplary at what it bills itself to do, smells fantastic for those who prefer a deep/woodsy aroma to light/citrusy scents. And as an added bonus, much like all of the wonderful stuff from Baxter - at the end of the day it has a striking appearance in its confident simplicity. So yeah...there's that too, I suppose. ;)
In far fewer words - every now & then we're experiences come along that serve as The Universe reminding us that we CAN have nice things - things like the Exfoliating Body Bar from Baxter of California. My impulsive decision to buy this on the back of my positive experience with other Baxter products proved to be a wise show of confidence and left me with a love for this soap unlike anything I ever believed could exist between a man and his bar of soap. Baxter got another customer for life in the deal so I suppose we both made out pretty sweet.
