Regardless of your age, think of the skin on your face as a team that’s down by a couple points at halftime—it needs to stay hydrated and it needs motivation. This formula will moisturize and energize, without leaving your skin oily or shiny. Meanwhile, the mild woodsy scent might just motivate you to throw on some red and black plaid and go crunch some pine needles underfoot.
The pine sent was at first appealing, but got old quick, I would much rather something with little to no odor. I also did not like the texture of the cream, or how it made my face feel after applying. I will try it until the sample is gone and if the results are worth the above complaints I will review again1
the scent is !way! too strong. it isn't bad smelling, but rather like spraying cologne right on your face. also, didn't moisturize as well as some there.2
It's an okay product, but not any better than similar products on the market for much less money (Zirh for example).2
It feels like a good moisturizer, but the scent is way too strong for a face lotion.2
I used this facial moisturizer a couple times after receiving it in my Birchbox. Initially, I thought it was great, very pleasant scent, a small amount seemed to go a long way, but then after just a few uses, I began breaking out. This was the only change to my grooming routing, so I discontinued use and no more breakouts. Maybe this product just isn't right for my skin.2
The product itself is good - it's a good skin hydrator with a non-greasy, matte finish. Really, I like everything about it but the scent, which is too strong and not right for me. It has a very woodsy, long-lasting scent (my fiancee says it has finishing notes of powder) that makes me feel like I just walked out of an Abercrombie or similar store. Best description might be "do you even smell, bro!?"2
I like the smell well enough, though I don't love it, I just don't think this was effective. Didn't do much to moisturize my face (post-shave), and left my fingers and face feeling sticky even after a couple of minutes.2
My wife said this smells like the bad cologne scent you get walking by Hollister or A&F at the mall. Not something I want my face to smell like.2
The moisturizer itself is nice and works well. I have sensitive skin and this didn't cause any breakouts. My main beef though is considering the price, this runs out really quick. It is a pump built into the container and you can't remove the lid. I felt like once it ran out, I couldn't get it all because the pump didn't suck it all out. You also can't remove the top unless you break it apart. I guess it works well for the seller, you end up buying more sooner.3
This would probably be a better product if I had longer hair. I did like the scent, and I do like the texture, but when your hair is the length of "pool effect," it really isn't practical.3
