It’s a common misconception among guys that a T-shirt is a T-shirt. Not so. This T-shirt is a work of art. Dispensing with the typical baggy, boxy cut, this tee pays homage to the past while cutting a distinctly modern silhouette. The Brando Cut is an ideal shirt for going out, staying in, or, you know, hollering that special someone’s name in the streets (though if this is your style of choice, odds are you’re a good deal more advanced in the science of seduction than Brando’s character in A Streetcar Named Desire). Don't know your size? Check out our Sizing Guide.
The fabric of this T is really nice, the style is thoughtful, but the actual execuation of the cut leaves something to be desired. I am a tall guy, and this shirt is not long enough. Its a few inches too short for my torso.2
I always wear a medium sized shirt, but I was not going to get into this medium. It did not fit me in the shoulders and the shirt was not long enough. It would not even completely cover my belt while wearing. Even if this shirt did fit me I would be hesitant to spend this much on this shirt. It just did not feel like a high quality shirt and already the neck seemed to have an uneven opening.2
Shirt is very comfortable but the cut is somewhat feminine and the sleeve end up being very short in the underarm area. Love the feel and fit of the shirt, just not crazy about the sleeves. I use it as an undershirt for a short sleeved polo and it works ok.2
I'm in-between a size Medium and Large on my profile, Birchbox sent me an XL. Even if it was the right size I don't think I would like this shirt. The fit is similar to hospital scrubs, looks weird.2
I really enjoy the quality of this product, however the fit and cut are simply not for me. The length of the sleeves and the shirt itself are just too short.2
I see what they are trying to go for with the cut, but they just don't pull it off in my opinion. If you have an athletic build (I'm talking Christian Bale, not The Rock) then this is going to fit weird. The sleeve (by design) bunches up and flares out, which doesn't look right. The sleeves are short, which is good, but there's too much material so it flares out too much. Also the fit is probably more snug than you would want in a knock-around T. If you normally wear an XL, get a Double X. I wish that was what was shipped in my box - maybe that would fit more comfortably. I'm 6' 2" and 200 lbs and don't like the fit - maybe it would be better on skinny dudes or those with more ladylike shoulders.2
The shirt is cut kind of funky. Like the Deep V look, it is not for everyone. The bottom is rounded and it isn't very flattering to my body type. <- (as of right now pudgy) the sleeves are cut at an angle that makes them stick out on top. I like the material. I am keeping it for undershirts or even when I’m slim again to use normally but it is definitely something you should try on first.2
It was a nice quality shirt, but I didn't feel like it fit my body type. It seems as though its made for someone with very muscular arms.2
The cut of this shirt looks weird, and the tag on the side is quite uncomfortable. Not a winner.2
The quality of the material and color of the shirt were great, very similar to my J Crew tees; however, it just didn't fit well. I do wear a size large, but the shirt was not long enough. I also prefer a more fitted, slim fit.2
