It’s a common misconception among guys that a T-shirt is a T-shirt. Not so. This T-shirt is a work of art. Dispensing with the typical baggy, boxy cut, this tee pays homage to the past while cutting a distinctly modern silhouette. The Brando Cut is an ideal shirt for going out, staying in, or, you know, hollering that special someone’s name in the streets (though if this is your style of choice, odds are you’re a good deal more advanced in the science of seduction than Brando’s character in A Streetcar Named Desire). Don't know your size? Check out our Sizing Guide.
This is a really nice, soft but sturdy tee. I'm a pretty slim guy and I think I come right between the M and L sizes, hopefully it shrinks cause I got the L. The shirt is very fitted, tailored almost, so it's probably meant mostly for slimmer guys4
This t-shirt was truly terrible. The tag was scratchy and situated poorly. Because of how they stitched it in, I couldn't cut it out completely. Can't you guys put this on the inside of the back collar like everyone else does? I ended up cutting the t-shirt in half to use as a rag.
Back to the drawing board, guys. This time, pay for a focus group.
The quality of the material and color of the shirt were great, very similar to my J Crew tees; however, it just didn't fit well. I do wear a size large, but the shirt was not long enough. I also prefer a more fitted, slim fit.2
This T-shirt was just ok. It doesn't really look like anything special and the sleeves are cut a little funny. I'm tall and have large muscles on my arms so it looked strange on me. Maybe if I had skinnier arms it might have looked better.2
I was skeptical at first (how excited could someone actually get about a t-shirt?), but this shirt is actually pretty good. The fit is good, the texture is soft, and little details take it a notch above other shirts. Personally, I would never pay more than $10 for a t-shirt. However, if you're inclined to spend more, this isn't a bad choice.4
My boyfriend liked how Birchbox actually gave him a tshirt that was suppose to be worth $23. He loved how it's plain and simple too! He thought this product made the value of his Birchbox!5
Upon opening this month’s box, I was amazed to find a t-shirt (not only in my size, but incredibly in my absolute favorite color). Not just a standard underwear t-shirt, but a high end, absolutely soft, high quality shirt.
Now, let me start off saying the cut on the bottom was a little different than what I normally wear (which is straight across), but I liked the cut.
This is where my story takes a tragic turn. That night, my wife did the laundry and accidentally mixed my new shirt in with my usual stuff, and upon removal from the dryer, with a tear in her eyes, she apologized and asked me to try it on. Yup, it was slightly shrunk.
So guys, a word of caution here, make sure you wash it in cold and try not to tumble dry, as it will shrink a little.
This may have been a devious ploy by my wife to get a great shirt to wear around the house and to bed at night as it is thin and very soft.
Its awesome and I highly recommend it because its not your typical thin shirt that you can wear while you're lounging at home and it can come in handy if you have to recite lines from "A Streetcar Named Desire".5
if i can i would like to get ore of these...they are comfortable but not cheaply made.. basic shirt that shows off my arm tats better than a normal shirt...and my wife likes them too4
These shirts run very small. I received an XLarge and I swear it's a child's size.4
