It’s a common misconception among guys that a T-shirt is a T-shirt. Not so. This T-shirt is a work of art. Dispensing with the typical baggy, boxy cut, this tee pays homage to the past while cutting a distinctly modern silhouette. The Brando Cut is an ideal shirt for going out, staying in, or, you know, hollering that special someone’s name in the streets (though if this is your style of choice, odds are you’re a good deal more advanced in the science of seduction than Brando’s character in A Streetcar Named Desire). Don't know your size? Check out our Sizing Guide.
When I first saw the shirt in the Birchbox, I was confused as to why they were so expensive at $46 for two shirts. It looks like a plain old shirt. However, I realized it was made in the USA, and if I had the money, I'd be willing to pay a little extra for stuff made in the US. The stitching and angled sleeves are a nice touch too, so the shirt is better than I first thought.4
These shirts have that awesome post WW2 cut, without being too tapered in the middle. Very soft!5
I love the cut of the t-shirt just a little short especially where the slit is on the side.4
this shirt is totally awesome. The description it right on going back to the old days, so much different than the typical shirts you see out there. I would recommend this product5
Things I liked about this t-shirt were the material, the gray color, the quality of construction and the contoured hem at the bottom of the shirt. The fit was generally really good. What I didn't like was the "Brando" cut sleeve. It looked pretty awful, tenting out weirdly from my shoulders. In my opinion it was not flattering to the shoulders, a blouse-y sleeve, and not flattering for a man.2
I was very impressed with the feel of the shirt. It's very comfortable, and has the type of fit that I am looking for. However, the angled sleeves don't really work for me, as they tend to stick out too far. This shirt would probably fit better on someone who doesn't have very broad shoulders. Other than the sleeves, I was very impressed and would recommend to my slimmer friends.3
Nice, for at home wear.My b.f says it's a little too wide on the sleeves. But still verty comfy fit and great material :) Nice for a sample but wouldnt go out of my way to buy. Thanks BirchBox Still loving everything else.3
This shirt is made of great feeling material and certainly has a great cut; unfortunately for me, I picked the wrong size when filling out my information and the shirt I received was too small. But, my girlfriend was happy to get a comfortable new T-shirt, so thanks for that.5
Was a bit skeptical at first trying a new cut of t-shirt. Pleasantly surprised at the quality and the comfort of the fit. I wore my first purchase way more than I should before washing but I know they will be my go-to shirt in the future.5
The sleeves that are designed to show more arm felt very awkward. My girlfriend looked at me and said, "those are lady sleeves."2
