When you store your earbuds in your pocket or backpack, they typically go in neatly folded like a new pair of shoelaces, but come out looking more like a ball of dried out spaghetti. This small and durable plastic contraption is designed to keep your headphones organized and detangled as they go in and out of your pocket.
Wrapping Apple headphones with integrated controller was clearly not considered, otherwise the Quirky wrap-thing would have been a centimeter shorter. Because the product isn't shorter, the controller on the headphone cord ruins the wrapping and makes the product unusable.2
It's nice to wrap headphone cord around but honestly takes more time to wrap it around this than just neatly roll up in my gym bag.2
Not my favorite item from Birchbox. It does as promised, but I don't know that I would ever spend money on the cord folder.2
Doesn't work with my current headphones. The placement of the volume adjust/call answer buttons on the cables do not allow me to wrap it snugly, and adjusting it so they wrap defeats the purpose and the cords come unwrapped. If I get new headphones, I'll use it for travelling for sure.2
Not a big fan of earbud organizers and this one does not impress.2
I'm struggling with this one. When I go to wrap my Apple iPhone headphones on this, the volume control gets stuck on a place where it can't bend.2
For some reason the volume control section of the headphone cord does not line up with the quirky wrapster, so it does not wrap up nicely. I tried a few times, but if I can't get it on the first try, what's the odds that I'll sit there and wrap it before putting it in my coat?2
I already had one of these before getting it in my box. I found it was more hassle to wrap them around the Wrapster then to just wrap around me hand an put my earbuds in my pocket. Not for me2
This is a good idea. Unfortunately, it doesn't work that well with my Apple ear buds because of the volume control. I hope they come up with a modified version I could use more effectively.2
You must have pockets and keep your earphones in your pockets...otherwise this product isn't going to get used much. Seems like a real hassle to use and wrap up earphones each time. They'll remain a jumbled mess on my desk. I just don't have much use for this item.2
