Between the job stress and the gym sweat, you’re in need of a soap that works just as hard as you do. This transparent bar is oversized, with rounded edges that make it easy for a grown man (or NBA Center) to grip. All that surface area also help you work up a rich lather quickly. And like you, the bar works overtime: the refreshing orange scent stick around long after you towel off.
The smell of the soap was great and it lathered up well. It certainly cleaned off the dirt, crud, and associated smells, but it felt like it also stripped away more of the moisture away from my skin as well. As an older guy, I need to hold onto whatever moisture I can, so this just wasn't for me.1
Beware of the deceitfully pleasant scent of the Bloody Orange Body Bar. Upon first sniff this aromatic soap tingles the senses. Unfortunately, that love affair doesn't carry over through shower experience. If you are a jock (or any other title used for an active perspiring male) you will leave your shower smelling just as odorous as you did entering. Sure your hands may smell like lovely blood oranges but don't count on your pits, feet, and nethers to smell any fresher than they did before you showered. This is an over hyped hand soap at best.1
It's a bar of soap that smells faintly like oranges and has no deodorant qualities. While it cleans and doesn't over-dry skin, it doesn't seem to improve my skin softness or hydration. It didn't really wash the stink out of the armpits like a deodorant or cologne soap does.1
This soap smells AWESOME. Only downside, yet a big one, it seemed to leave a residue if you will. Not sure if residue is the best word yet it made my skin feel way to sticky and not smooth.1
After trying this product I have no reason to deviate from my preferred unscented body wash. The jock soap did not perform any worse or better than other bar soap - full disclosure I prefer a body wash. If I am using a bar it's going to be Dove. The jock soap left a fragance I felt was incompatible with the one or two scents that I stick to in my grooming routine (a cologne and shampoo).2
There's only so much you can say about a bar of soap. The smell wasn't impressive but it's not too strong so it won't mess with your cologne. My skin didn't dry out but I also haven't noticed a huge difference in a good way either.2
Decent scent, but leaves my skin tight and dry with no feeling of moisture. Not my favorite, and not worth $8.00 a bar to me.2
Not a fan of bar soap, a little too much of a fruity scent for me also2
This product smells great, but that is where the positives end. It claims to be a moisturizing bar of soap but it left my skin feeling tight and not smooth. It reminded me of the dove soap commercials where they compare the soap to other kinds. This is the other kind of soap. In the days of body washes this product just not compete. I could buy two large dove for men body wash with the $8 that this product costs and the dove body wash left my skin feeling much better.2
Smells really good but makes your skin feel kind of sticky.2
