White Eagle combines the two things every guy is looking for in a shaving agent: classic simplicity with superior performance. Infused with cooling menthol and emollient sesame oil, it's a runaway best seller of the Kiehl’s cabinet. A rich, creamy formula acts like a form of whisker whisperer, coaxing beard hairs into submission.
I have never tried any shave creams beside for foam ones. Kiehl's goes on much easier and is a great product all around.4
I was a little reluctant to use this with out lathering with some water but it worked pretty decent. Given I just used a little around my beard line to do edging. Not sure if it would be something to use for your whole face as it seems a little to viscous (could be remedied with actually rubbing some water into it). Pretty small sample though, I would love to use some more before I buy 20 dollar shave cream/gel...4
I've typically used store bought shaving cream that was fine. But I realize after using this product that the other product was messy and a lot of waste. I don't need to cover my face and look like Santa Claus when a dabble on the primary areas will do the job. Will definitely try the rest of the sample before I decide if I will make the jump.4
Kiehl's makes awesome products and am so happy I get a chance to try their shave cream. I use Clinique's cream shave so I'm looking for something from Kiehl's to take the spotlight. This product is it! A little goes a ways, so all you need is a light layer on freshly exfoliated and washed skin. Razor glides effortlessly and does not irritate the skin afterwards!4
It is okay. It smells nice, and provides a decent glide - but it takes a lot even for someone that shaves everyday. I've found it works better with a shave oil, but I'm not trying to complicate things by adding more products. I wouldn't purchase this again.3
It was okay but my husband like the Anthony shaving cream better3
Used it with both an electric and blade razor. There wasn't a lot of foam, which meant that I had to reapply.3
I was not crazy about this shave cream. I use beard lube by Jack Black and I am pretty much set on that. This product was easy to use but it didn't protect my skin enough from my razor and I ended up with irritation. I liked the texture and how it spread on my skin, but there was just not enough "grease" in it to keep my razor blade gliding smoothly over my skin. My razor tended to pull a little on my skin. I would try this product again but unfortunately I used most all of the tube in one use. The sample size needs to be a little larger next time for this so you can get 2 to 3 uses out of a sample.3
This shave cream was nice. It didn't really have any smell which was nice but it didn't really stand out as being any better or worse than any other shave cream that I've tried.3
It serves it's purpose but it's not a product that is out of this world.3
