If you’ve got the type of hair that needs more than a little verbal encouragement to stay in place, you need some no-nonsense styling paste. This extra-firm hold formula is lightweight but has enough power to keep the most unruly hair under control. Hair won’t be left shiny but it will be able to withstand the elements: a stiff subway wind, a long day at the office, or maybe a trek through the urban wilds.
Maybe it's because I don't use many hair products, but I couldn't tell a difference between this and others that I've tried.1
If you're looking for a wax rather than a gel, go for it. It makes me feel like I'm in middle school when I use something like this trying for spiky hair. From the perspective of smell and intended usage, both are good, just not for me. Smells like the other towldry products which I do purchase and use.1
I don't like my hair to be hard after putting something in it. After reading a review saying that hair paste doesn't make your hair hard, I tried it. What a mistake.1
Highlight= very pleasing aroma
Low Point= way too thick. This styler was hard to work into hair due to its thickness and pasty texture.
This product does the trick, but a pomade/gel format would have been better to work into corse, curly, or thick hair.
I have longer hair and generally stick with waxes or pomades. This product was like putting super glue in my hair. I had no flex with this in, basically wearing a helmet. I tried to use a brush, one of the plastic bristled wide spaces, to see if that would calm down the extreme hold a little and it was to no avail. The good of this product is that it comes out fairly easily.1
Was no real guide on how much to use and made the hair sticky. Unfortunately, this was a throw away for me.1
same as any 10 dollar axe paste styler without the smell. wish i didn't buy it in the first place2
This product is a run of the mill paste. It's not nearly as good as bumble and bumble's sumo max.2
I usually don't use hair styler products like this but since I had a sample I thought I'd give it a try... Put it in my hair (which is short) after I got out of the shower and it made my hair stiff and sticky all day. Not a fan. I'll stick with my American Crew pomade for the rare occasion I use stuff like this.2
I used it once and never again. I only used a little bit and it made me feel like I had soap in my hair.2
