Now that you're grown up, sugary cereal is a no-no. Sugary face cleanser, on the other hand, gets a resounding yes. Infused with lemongrass and chamomile, this cleanser gets rid of dirt and oil while gently exfoliating layers of skin with nonabrasive sugar. (The alpha hydroxy acids in raw sugar gently buff away dead layers and excess oils without stripping your skin of its natural moisture.) You'll immediately notice how refreshed your skin feels, not to mention how good the clean, subtle scent of zesty lemon smells. Unlike Lucky Charms, this sweet stuff is good for you.
I like using this scrub in the mornings to wake me up. The scrub itself is a little harsh, and left my skin feeling a little sticky, like after you washed with a bar soap. It's not my favorite scrub.4
This stuff is somehow very mild and nicely exfoliating. I guess that's the foaming part. The scent is light and pleasant. After using up the sample in four sessions my face felt clean and it was gentle on my unruly beard. I'm planning on buying the full size version.4
I got this in a Birchbox last month. Not only does it smell heavenly (like lemons!) but a tiny amount goes a long way! I didn't get much "foaming" from the scrub, but that really wasn't all that important since it left my face feeling fresh and clean. The only problem I had was that my sample was stored correctly and it still dried out to a hard, sugary rock.4
First, the sample size was too small, and too tough to get the product out. Second, the fragrance was too lemony, reminded me of furniture polish.4
This is an amazing scrub - so far the best that I have tried from Birchbox. I plan on buying this the next time I need a scrub4
really love it! A little too much for every day but feels nice. great for a weekly scrub. Wish there was a little more in the sample.4
My fiance received her Birchbox prior to mine showing up last month and she had the suki exfoliating cleanser and sure, as a real metro fella would do...I tried it. And you know what, I liked it. I liked it so much that I began using it at the end of long days or sometimes weeks. So when my box did arrive, I had to share mine as well. The texture and scent are great and the exfoliate itself isn't as harsh as some I have tried before. Overall, its a product I would buy.4
I like to scrub my face and I mean scrub. i like the feeling of a refreshed face. this product has a good scrub but then goes away in seconds after it dissolves4
I liked that it exfoliated without being rough on my face. It smells like lemons which is great and the exfoliation part fades away to a normal cleanser.4
Has a very strong citrus smell, almost to the point of smelling like a house cleaning product. The jar is a little hard to open in the shower (at least, the sample jar is.) The beads kind of melt into foam, so you don't feel them scrubbing your skin. Left my face feeling very clean & non-oily.4
