Now that you're grown up, sugary cereal is a no-no. Sugary face cleanser, on the other hand, gets a resounding yes. Infused with lemongrass and chamomile, this cleanser gets rid of dirt and oil while gently exfoliating layers of skin with nonabrasive sugar. (The alpha hydroxy acids in raw sugar gently buff away dead layers and excess oils without stripping your skin of its natural moisture.) You'll immediately notice how refreshed your skin feels, not to mention how good the clean, subtle scent of zesty lemon smells. Unlike Lucky Charms, this sweet stuff is good for you.
This cleanser smells wonderful. It is foamy and gently exfoliates. A little goes a long way. It was not effective in removing my waterproof mascara. I prefer formulas that are more heavy duty since my skin is oily and not sensitive. Also, the cleanser left my face feeling rubbery afterwards, which I thought was odd since there does not seem to be any soap in the product. It's an overall good product, but not for that price.
3I was pretty excited to try this when I saw it in my box. I don't use exfoliating cleansers because they tend to be too harsh for my face- but this one wasn't too harsh and it left my face feeling supple and soft. I've been using it every day and it hasn't hurt my face at all. If I was going to purchase an exfoliating cleanser, it would be this one.
4I was excited to see this exfoliator in my box this month. The smell is light and fresh, and the consistency is pretty neat. However, it feels like it leaves some sort of residue on my face that's hard to rinse off. I'm not sure if the product is suppose to work that way, but it did for me.
