We’re always thrilled when we find products that can multitask as well as Suki’s Transformative Cleansing Clay, which is a cleanser, mask, and spot treatment in one. The clay goes on smoothly, drawing out impurities, reducing inflammation, and minimizing redness as it dries. Best of all, it works its magic without tightening or overdrying skin.
I have started buying this product as a spot treatment to use at bed time. Leave on overnight and in the morning redness will be significantly reduced. A little goes a long way, so it is worth the cost!4
I had been using the sample as spot treatment but in ordering the larger version I've also tried out as a mask. As a spot treatment it's fantastic, goes on easily and doesn't leave skin with that tight/coated feeling. FYI if using as a spot treatment this is a HUGE bottle and you don't need a whole lot!5
I love this stuff. My weirdly combination skin has been totally turned around by the suki products, and I think this one is the key. My dry, irritated patches are calmed and soothed and balanced, my pores look smaller and I've had less breakouts. And my skin feels good after using it. I've done mostly the five minute leave on routine, but I've also done the 20 minute leave on once, both with good results. I don't know if I see the results of treating spots overnight that otehrs have -- I mean, the few blemishes I have treated with it overnight "might" have been smaller and soothed by some, but it wasn't miraculous. Still, I'm very pleased. My one complaint is the packagin -- the heavy glass bottle makes me nervous and will be too heavy for travel. Still, a great product for me.5
This product is great for oily skin as a mask or spot treatment for blemishes. It's not overdrying which is good (as that would cause you to produce more oil and lead to more breakouts). Suki's line is great in general - no bad chemicals and the company seems to be very true to keeping their line that way.5
THis is great for overnight spot treatment to prevent a new pimple or red spot from forming. THe texture is a little weird at first, but you get used to it. Even with it being clay based, I don't notice any drying of my skin.4
While I am obsessed with Suki's exfoliator, this product left me feeling kind of blah. I am super oily and found that it just didn't do it for me. That being said, I do have tremendous respect for their dedication to being "clean" line.3
This stuff is amazing! I love it all three ways-- cleanser, mask, and spot treatment. It does a great job of taking care of redness and my skin feels clean and purified after. I only wish it were less expensive!5
I LOVE this product. It isn't your typical mask... I put it on my dry skin and leave it on when I go to bed. It makes my skin look so much clearer in the morning. LOVE this stuff. Worth the price.5
This is an odd product.
It's a really watery clay and it's a little slimy. It's an odd texture that I could see as off-putting, but let me tell you the healing powers of this clay. I have oily skin and i just leave the stuff on my face overnight and in the morning my skin still looks as great as when I washed it. I sampled the Suki products in a Birchbox and I am a firm supporter of the brand.
Good for my skin and good for the environment is a win-win.
I like the way my skin feels immediately after use, but am not sure that it's really doing a whole lot for my skin.3
