When it comes to hairstylists, Oribe is something of a bad boy. The tattooed star is known for working with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and plenty of other pop icons. That’s why you should take his word for it that this cream is the difference between the usual out of control mop and a polished coif. The multitasking formula acts as both a leave-in conditioner and a styling cream, helping to calm and smooth coarse, thick, or fuller hair.
It just didn't do it for me. Ok though for what it was.2
I got this sample in my ant-frizz box and was excited to try it because its similar formula to other products that have worked well for me in the past. It left my hair feeling sticky though, then dried up sort of crunchy, and not at all soft like I'm used to. The ends of my hair felt particularly dry and crunchy. My hair is 3b/c curly, and long down to my shoulder blades. Its highlighted, and I don't heat style it because it tends to the dry side of things. I think I need something more moisturizing. The smell is light and lovely, and I think that it may work for someone with less dryness, and who blow dries their hair and is looking for a more sleek finish.2
This product was not great in my hair. I have straight, fine hair and it made my hair very heavy and hard to wash/wear. If you a lot of styling on a daily basis this would be a good product, but not good for natural fresh just wash/ air dry look.2
I really saw no effect after I used this. I don't know if it's because it was a small sample, or because I'm young, but my skin didn't change at all. It wasn't an amazing product but it might work for someone else.2
This product makes my hair very greasy, I don't like it. Yes it makes my hair softer but very greasy and gross.2
I loved every oribe product I've tried. I've had this cream on my list of things to try for awhile so I was very excited to receive it in my June box. tried it once & it made my hair a greasy mess, oily, & stringy. the next day (I absolutely had to wash my hair 2 days in a row bc there was no way I could leave the house like that) I used half the amount, blow dried my hair, & again - it became the same greasy mess it had been the day before.
the scent lacked too. oribe products usually have that amazing scent you get addicted to instantly...not this one. it was so faint I questioned whether it had one at all, & to put enough in my hair to get the fragrance would just not be worth the hassle.
overall this cream was a huge disappointment.
for the price I say it's no better than a drug store find. smells great leaves hair silky smooth2
Felt oily on my face, didn't care for it at all and definitely prefer others2
I have fine hair. The cream is quite moisturizing which made my hair look greasy.Maybe good for winter time2
This product did not help with taming frizz or moisturizing my hair any better than a drugstore product. The smell was not impressive either. Not worth the price.2
