When it comes to hairstylists, Oribe is something of a bad boy. The tattooed star is known for working with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and plenty of other pop icons. That’s why you should take his word for it that this cream is the difference between the usual out of control mop and a polished coif. The multitasking formula acts as both a leave-in conditioner and a styling cream, helping to calm and smooth coarse, thick, or fuller hair.
After hearing a lot about this brand (and its price!) I thought I would love this product. I was wrong. I have very dry hair but this really weighed it down, and it wouldn't hold any style. Didn't notice any shine either. Glad I was able to sample first!2
I was hoping this product would be awesome but it ended up leaving my hair extremely oily like every other product I receive for hair.2
Smell to perfumery and it does not benefit my thick course here. Actually dried it out2
I seriously thought this was just moisturizer for your hands or face but I noticed it felt way too greasy; therefore, is why I gave it a low rating. My hair is already greasy and I don't need to add anymore greasy to it!2
Really weighed down my thin hair. I couldn't really thin it out either. I felt like I needed to wash my hair after. Yuck!2
I live in hot, humid Central Florida where it rains pretty much every afternoon in the summer. I need serious defrizzing and this product just couldn't handle the job. It smelled ok, but it was a little thick for not working all that well.2
The smell is not even the worst part, honestly. The fact that it does nothing at all to my hair is really the problem. I need leave-in styling products to help with the fluff that is created by Summer in DC. No fluff control is bad juju.2
After seeing the reviews for this product, I really wanted to love it. Unfortunately, I think it's another hair product that may be geared towards curly hair, but not necessarily ethnic hair. I didn't find it moisturizing at all, and certainly not shining. I wonder if maybe it works better on hair that has been chemically straightened.2
did not add noticeable shine. did not fix my beach hair frizz. would not recommend2
I can see how this would work for others, as it did smooth the surface of my hair, but it turned my relatively thick, usually flowing short hair into more of a helmet. For someone with a more precise hairstyle it might be great.2
