Powered by natural ingredients, this formula provides a worthy shield. Açai berry and green tea extracts spur skin regeneration, while cupuacu fruit extract heals and hydrates. Vitamins A and E preserve elasticity (a requisite of youthful skin)—and the best part? This minty hydrator absorbs so quick, you'll forget that you're wearing it.
This is by far the worst moisturizer I've ever applied to my face. When you open it, it smells somewhat nice, lightly mentholated. The texture in your hands feels like it is going to be a light moisturizer. Then you apply this to your face, and everything changes. Instantly the smell becomes that of peppermint oil mixed with fish oil, with the fishy scent overpowering anything. The moisturizer becomes so thick and greasy like shortening, I have no idea where anyone could claim this is a matte finish; I looked positively shiny after application. Stay away from ERNEST SUPPLIES products (is there a reason their name is in all caps?), as you would be better off with a dollar store version of their products than any of this stuff.1
It left my face feeling nice, but didn't care for the packaging or the price. There are better products for my skin.1
Not a bad moisturizer but interesting concept for delivery. I'll probably not buy this.2
I liked this product but it didn't like me i must of been allergic to something in there made my skin very dry2
This product did indeed control shine. It also left my skin so incredibly dry that it hurt. Hurt a lot. And crispy.2
Left my skin very oily and I didn't care for the smell or packaging2
While ERNEST SUPPLIES Protective Matte Moisturizer does what it describes, moisturizes your face while leaving a matte finish. I found the minty-ness to burn my face and bother my eyes. I also could seem to feel a film left on my face.2
It actually burned when I put it on like aftershave. Didn't work either, my skin was dry in an hour.2
I usually like the sample products from this brand. Their packaging is really cool, like something you'd take on a space shuttle flight. This moisturizer, though, was waaaay too thick. Felt like a layer of grease on my face. Also the smell was a little overpowering and coupled with the consistency my first thought was to wash it off. It doesn't seem to get absorbed (on my skin at least) I still like this brand though, and look forward to sampling their other stuff.2
I liked the texture/feel of the gel but the smell just did not agree with me.2
