When Ernest Supplies set out to improve upon classic shaving cream, they looked to another shower workhorse: hair conditioner. This low-lather formula contains jojoba, macadamia nut, and babassu oils, which condition beard hair for easy removal while nourishing the skin beneath. Meanwhile, cooling oils of menthol and eucalyptus eliminate razor burn and the need for an aftershave.
I used the ERNEST SUPPLIES moisturizer for a few months before giving the Shave cream a try. Its pretty refreshing and works well. Gives me a good shave. Doesnt lather up or foam up. Its more of a cream then a lather. Its said to be a pre-shave, cream, and conditioner in one and performs that way. I dont think it will last more than 10 shaves but its worth a try if you like other EARNEST SUPPLIES products. Good stuff.
4I used to hate shaving and my wife hated stubble but that was better than shaving to me. Shaving hurts and is never really close enough. I would leave stubble or get razor burn trying to go back over it. I settled for the electric razor. I have tried many other creams and lotions out there but this is the only one that has worked for me. Its so easy to use. Light weight and smooth it glides on and the razor takes one pass to do the trick. It rinses from the blade easily and I can shave in less than 5 mins. You can choose to rinse after or just towel off your face for a refreshing minty feel that will energize your morning. I love this product. If you hate shaving for all these reasons then try this product and get close to your lady today. I am.
5I was reluctant when I opened the package and there was no foam. But the oils mixed together well and I got a really good close shave. Like the fresh feeling it gives my face when I'm done. But I'm tight when it comes to spending and its a bit pricey compared to the cans of foam I can buy for $2.00. Packaging would be concern for traveling.
5This really does 'cool' your skin as soon as you put it on. The consistency is just right for shaving; not too thick, not too runny. There's the slightest hint of mint mixed with citrus and a kind of astringent (not really a smell, I know but that's what comes to mind) I do suffer from razor burn and razor bumps, but once I slather this guy on I'm left with smooth skin. Only thing is I also have dry skin and this did dry it out juuuust a tad, but nothing that would make me stop using it . Oh, it's also a really nifty package, nice going on that.
4this product is really good you just put it on and it softens your beard a lot making ti weak for the razors, so you get a comfortable shave. it leaves the skin extremely soft smells good, menthol. the cooling effect could be a little bit too much. the reason why i'm not happy is because apparently the person that had it before me, maybe the person that put it inside the box apparently played with the pouch and gave it a lot of wrinkles and stretched the plastic which is not acceptable. at 25 dollars and containing only 3 oz, the product should look good. i have the moisturizer which comes in a pouch too, but it looked normal because nobody played with it. birchbox needs people that is more serious working at their shipping department.
