When Ernest Supplies set out to improve upon classic shaving cream, they looked to another shower workhorse: hair conditioner. After all, why wouldn’t a product that is designed to soften your mane be able to do the same for your beard? With its low-lather formula, this balm ensures a closer shave. As the formula preps hair for removal, cooling oils also soothe skin, eliminating razor burn and the need for an aftershave.
This is a decent shave cream with a nice cooling effect, the scent is nice and light. I may buy it again.3
As you apply the product to your face, you will feel a cooling effect. The cream applies transparently to the face, does not foam (this is intentional), and the razor glides effortlessly across. This was probably one of the better shaves I've had: no burns, very close shave with one pass, and it rinses away easily and cleanly.5
My wife liked the smell. Overall good product. I have a beard, so I only used this to clean up the edges.3
Just FYI this doesn't lather up, it's just a gel. However, it really nicely lubricates your face for a clean, smooth, and cool shave!4
I really liked this shaving cream. I liked the cooling effect and how close of a shave i was able to get.4
shave cream is great. felt good and cooling on the skin4
It was nice and did it's job, but I don't like the sample packaging.3
I'm very content with the cream and soap I use now. While this is definitely a good product, it wasn't good enough for me to make the switch.4
While i'm a huge fan of cooling shave creams this one just seems to miss the mark. The texture is a little off and the smell just doesn't do it for me.3
I received a small sample of this product in my November 2014 Birchbox. Because of the packaging this is NOT something I would recommend traveling with. I am concerned it would be punctured or leak. The product provided an adequate shave, but nothing unusual.3
