When Ernest Supplies set out to improve upon classic shaving cream, they looked to another shower workhorse: hair conditioner. This low-lather formula contains jojoba, macadamia nut, and babassu oils, which condition beard hair for easy removal while nourishing the skin beneath. Meanwhile, cooling oils of menthol and eucalyptus eliminate razor burn and the need for an aftershave.
This product took cooling sensation to a new level. It felt like I had walked into the arctic with this on my face. Was eager to rinse off and use my regular shave products.2
makes my skin tingle. I really like it and it gets a nice close shave4
Works good for a nice, clean shave. Left my face feeling smooth and free of razor burn.4
it was ok but it more like one that you would take with you when you go camping or something not a every day one3
It's actually not bad! However I have like another brand.4
Never heard of this product before I got my sample. I tried it this morning with my shave and was very surprised at the results. It applies like a thin conditioning lotion instead of a whipped cream or a gel. I got one of the smoothest and closest shaves I've ever had. It has a terrific scent and leaves the skin soft and supple. Highly recommended.5
As usual, Birchbox impresses. This is a fantastic product, that easily sells itself. I will be purchasing the full size.5
Having a pre-shave balm modeled on conditioner that also serves as a cooling aftershave is a great idea--a really innovative product! The smell is also very nice, and the texture is great. But I find the packaging downright ugly (it looks like a packet or something), and the price point seems very high for the amount you get -- the pre-shave oil I currently use is much more affordable.4
I already use Kiehl-s but this would be a good second place.4
I wasn't sure what to expect from Ernest Supplies on this one but I think I liked it. I really do like a lather when I shave, but this stuff still worked well even though when you work it in, you can barely tell it's there.4
