When you need a stiff drink to unwind, nothing should come between you and your spirit of choice. Unlike ice, which spurs you to throw back your rye before it gets watered down, pre-chilled Whisky Stones® won’t melt. Made from Vermont soapstone, the non-porous cubes won’t absorb or alter the essence of whatever you’re sipping. They’re an ingenious way to keep your spirit chilled and unadulterated.
Great product if you like drinking liquor and want to avoid watering down your drink with ice. However, don't pile the stones in, because like ice, they will slide over each other and smack you in the mouth after each swig.5
This was a really cool addition to the box although I don't think I'd ever go out and buy the Whisky Stones for myself. I think it's a great gift idea.5
Great product, and perfect size for pretty much any glass (that you should be drinking whiskey out of, anyways). Highly recommend.5
I work at a bar and make whisky drinks all day, and drink a lot of whisky on my off hours and teroforma whisky stones don't get the whisky chilled enough for my liking3
Stones worked great don't leave a flavor or anything when used. Keep the drinks nice and cold without adding water.4
The product works really well, keeps the drink at the perfect temperature!4
A very cool product that adds a certain level of swagger to my drink. Pretty nifty. Keeps the beverage cold without diluting it. Be sure not to chew on these cubes!4
Cool idea, and a great conversation piece. Also makes a classy host gift.4
Honestly, I have never used a whiskey stone before so bear with me; however, I was a little disappointed that these stones did not cool very much. I did appreciate how they cooled the beverage down (just not as cool as I want) without watering it down. I don't hate the product at all; I think it's actually pretty great. I think I will try to freeze the stones longer and give it another go.4
I have quite a few scotch drinking friends. Most of them go for scotch/rocks more often than not, but at my house most take a splash of water and we all fight over the whiskey stones.
They do not impart any flavors in the drink, and they keep it cool for quite a while.
I have actually used these to mark my beer glass, as I'm a frequent oops I drank your beer culprit.
The only downside, is that if you toss these into a glass... You run the risk of breaking it, so gently add them to your drink :)
