Sometimes air-drying doesn't cut it. This professional-grade tool has major power, despite its compact size, and cuts drying time in half. Throw some product in your hair and you're out the door.
I've had the same blow dryer for over 10 years and it's still great. However, it eats my hair up by the chunks! I decided i want a new blow dryer but I was if-y about buying such a ridiculously expensive hair appliance. So I've been saving my birchbox point and I realized its going to take me a year to make any kind of significant discount. My perfect boyfriend came to the rescue and my bought me this AMAZING blow dryer. I'm seriously obsessed. Its so light and powerful. It heats up but doesn't get too hot to the point i feel my hair is being damaged. Geeze Louise (who's Louise?) it's great. My boyfriend definitely invested in making me beautiful because I'm going to have my hair did every single day from this point on. #saywhaat GET THIS BLOW DRYER5
I had been researching blow dryers online and felt like the Sedu 6000i was a great product with a reasonable price. I am pleased with the sturdiness, attachments that come with the dryer, and it's ability to dry my hair super quickly. I'd highly recommend it now after using it for over a year.5
Drying my hair with my old drugstore brand was an ordeal. And when I finally replaced it with the Sedu, it cut the drying time in half. My hair also looked shinier and healthier afterwards. I don't find it to be heavy at all. The only issue I have is how easy it is to accidentally hit the cold button while drying. Other than that, this is a great investment.4
This blow dryer burned out after about 6 months of very modest use - one person (me) with fine hair, using it about 4-5 days/week. One day when I turned it on, it made no sound but smoke came out - and that was that. It has a warranty but you have to pay to ship it BOTH ways to get a refurbished item, with no guarantee that the new one won't burn out too. This is way too expensive to have that kind of poor quality and inadequate warranty coverage. I would strongly recommend buying a different brand.1
I love this blow dryer. It cut my drying time in half, compared to the blow dryer I previously had.4
I had to buy this for my daughter. When she is home she always uses mine and says she loves how it makes her hair feel and look. It also cuts the time down to dry her hair.5
Honestly do NOT purchase this hair dryer. It pains me to say this but this is the second one that I have received and I cannot recommend it. I ordered one from Birchbox and received one with a cracked twist cap (that holds on the air filter). Birchbox was amazing and overnighted me a new one. Problem solved.
Now a few months later, I lightly knocked mine against a hard surface and the back twist cap cracked, fell off, and is completely unrepairable. Sedu offers a 6 year warranty on this so I looked up the warranty info and found out that not only is it on me to package and ship them the hair dryer, I have to pay $10 to get a refurbished one sent back to me.
So to recap, poor plastic quality on Sedu's part led to two broken hair dryers and after spending $160, I'm now out another roughly $20 to get a not new, but refurbished hair dryer sent to me.
Save yourself the heartache...the dryer is great but there are better made and equally as awesome hair dryers out there.
I purchased this blowdryer with the highest hopes! Unfortunately, it arrived broken (the end cap that covers the air intake... and prevents your hair from being sucked into the motor... was broken off). Could have just been a fluke but I wouldn't trust the quality of this brand if it is that easily damaged in transit.1
I like this hair drier, it's good, but it's not outstanding, and I was a bit disappointed as all the other reviews had been so amazing. I have just moved to the US, where the power voltage is much lower than where I came from, meaning that the hair drier I brought with me (not cheap, but not this expensive) wasn't effective with the lower voltage. This one is only about as powerful as my older, cheaper drier. Which I was satisfied with anyway, but I was expecting a bit more from this one, considering the price and the rave reviews.3
Please keep in mind I was replacing a very old very cheap drug store brand blow dryer when I purchased the Sedu. I couldn't be happier, and it was certainly worth the extra money, especially given the amount of time this thing should last. It dries my hair much faster, and it looks shinier and healthier. I agree, sometimes the on-off button gets in the way, but only on occasion and I've gotten used to it!5
