Designed by Apple veteran Justin Charlton, the Old Calgary Alpha Wallet is an ideal card and cash carrier for the modern man. Given the opportunity to flash this slim, concrete-colored design, you might actually look forward to the arrival of the check.
This is a good, functional product, but could look better.4
The picture of the wallet is completely different than what I received. I received two pieces of wool stitched together. Not the leather/wool combo with multiple pockets. Also, I received an identical product of leather from Roosevelt Supply a few months ago. Don't understand why I received. I was initially very excited to receive the actual product because it seems very unique, but what I actually received was useless.1
Great product to slim your pockets while wearing a suit or going out.4
I thought the alpha wallet was nice looking and functional for people who carry minimal wallet things. However, for me I couldn't see myself using this more than a handful of times during the year. I liked the wool texture, it gave a rugged and authentic feel but unfortunately it wouldn't be my ideal wallet. Probably make a good gift to the cards only individual or someone who doesn't like bi-folds.3
I guess you could use this as a wallet if you're a real minimalist. Between my driver's license, credit cards, reward cards, and insurance cards, I carry 6 to 7 cards around with me at all times, not including money. I'm currently using this wallet as a business card holder, which works better for me in that capacity.3
I don't think I'll be using this. I like bi-fold wallets. The material doesn't seem very high quality and isn't the same as what you see on the website. So, nope. Not for me.1
What is pictured is not what I received. It is just two pieces of felt sewed together...I would never pull this preschool looking thing out of my pocket in public and call it a card wallet. Besides the fact I’ve already received a card wallet from Birchbox, that was much much better.1
This is a nice wallet, or at least nice enough, but it doesn't give me enough space for everything I usually carry and it's made from felted wool (which seems like an odd choice). Doesn't fit my personal style.3
it is made of a good material and would use it in the future to carry money4
I'm a fan of card-holder wallets, but this one is huge! Holds about 3 cards, but there's so much extra material - seems a bit silly.2
