Inspired by the complex character of the world’s most iconic flower, perfumer Jerome Epinette set out to create an unconventional rose fragrance. The result is this brand new blend, which features rich floral notes undercut by a spicy, smoky trail. Romantic and bold, it avoids the cloying sweetness of most rose-based scents, with a concentrated formula that lends a single spritz some serious staying power.
This was my favorite product in the November Birchbox. I just love the soft, floral fragrance. A little goes a long way and it just makes me feel sexy when I have it on!5
great smelling perfume. i could see myself wearing this when i go dancing with girlfriends.5
While long lasting, this fragrance is not for me. I found it to be an "older" scent. For fans of rose water, this will be pleasing, but I really did not like it.1
This is a subtle rose with a kick of spice. The patchouli note does have a strong finish but not overpowering. If you are looking for something different and that lasts this is a great pick. I immediately fell in love with it. I typical trend toward Miss Dior, Gucci Envy & their newer fragrance. So this was quite a welcomed change.4
scent is way too mature for me (early 20s), reminds me of grandmother1
This is NOT your grandmother's rose perfume! The earthiness of the ginger, bergamot and pachouli make this rose SEXY.5
I like the scent very much. It is not too strong or overwhelming. I would recommend!4
Little too much as far as smell on this one. I usually like a more airy smell - this was a little too much perfume for me.2
Atelier wanted to do something different to the typical rose scent, but this one was a miss for me. I don't like patchouli which is mostly what I get from this cologne. Very strong lingering scent, which is a no go for this soft, fruity, sweet scent loving girl.1
Yikes, this is a really unique perfume with some notes that I REALLY do not like. I opened the sample and recoiled. The smoke and bergamot... no no no. I also couldn't get the smell out of my nose after putting the sample away. It drove me nuts for about an hour after, just sitting where I'd opened the sample. This is really strong, really unusual, and maybe it would have an appealing smell on the right person with the right pheromones, but it's not my cup of tea. Least favorite perfume I've received so far.1
