The best musical experiences in life are shared—and we’re not just talking about the Pearl Jam concert you attended with your buddies in the early ’90s. Whenever you want to hear the music played loud—at the beach, say, or in a hotel room—a good bet is this snappy-looking Portable Speaker. Available in design-centric zebrawood or rosewood finishes, it promises to please both your inner DJ and your inner aesthete.
This may be a cool product, but I will never know as it broke within 5 minutes of taking it out of the box. Tried to plug in headphones and the entire inner piece collapsed into the box itself, so now all I have are a few holes where the ports and on/off switch were supposed to be, the rest is inside the wooden box. For $30 for a tiny little speaker I would expect much higher quality than that--would not recommend anyone pay actual money for this.1
Mine doesn't work at all. The on/off switch is broken. It falls into the back of the speaker, and I have to turn it upside down and shake it to get it out. Plus, all I hear is static from the speaker when it's plugged in. Piece of junk.1
the speaker looks cool, however mine was nothing but static. i think it's probably the cord included but haven't had a chance to replace it.1
I must say I love the design, I would put this on my work desk anytime. But the product I received had bad connections from the start, from the charging plug to the audio cable. Sound was loud when it worked, which was once. Maybe this is the cheap version sent out in the box, but first impressions are everything.1
It looked promising but the connection port and the switch were lose and was very cheap. Sound quality was eh once I got it working1
It sure looks neat!
The sound however is horrible. I'm not expecting anything spectacular but its still pretty bad.
I really dislike this speaker. The sound quality is terrible and in a wireless society, an effective product would have bluetooth. I spend the most time at home, work and in the car, and I have no use for this in any of those places. At home I'll use the stereo, at work my headphones, and in the car, the car stereo. When would anyone really use this thing?1
Mine came broken, the electronics are unseated and don't let you plug the headphone jack in all the way. Very disappointing.1
Was not impressed with the audial range of this product. The tweeters are tinny and produce a flat, weak sound.1
I could see maybe using this in the bathroom? Or in a small kitchen? Never found out. Immediately gave it to my roomie.1
