The best musical experiences in life are shared—and we’re not just talking about the Pearl Jam concert you attended with your buddies in the early ’90s. Whenever you want to hear the music played loud—at the beach, say, or in a hotel room—a good bet is this snappy-looking Portable Speaker. Available in design-centric zebrawood or rosewood finishes, it promises to please both your inner DJ and your inner aesthete.
Love the look, the sound was ok, I used it in my kitchen with my I-Phone, and I liked it fine. The controls are a little flimsy, so I'm not sure how long it will last3
I consider myself a music lover and love novelty/unique stuff, this speaker falls more on the latter category of a unique item to own, not something I would go looking for when I want to listen to my music. Quality is definitely better quality than your phone speaker (speaking for iPhone). But, the fact that it is not bluetooth enabled and needed a separate charging cable not very convenient compare to my other speaker. So considering I got this as a bonus, why not.3
I am always skeptical of compact mini-speakers, and this one was no different. I thought the sound quality was poor and didn't really add much compared to the sound I would get from the mobile devices I plugged into it. That said, it's compact and good-looking, which merits a few extra stars.3
When the speaker is charged, the sound is great, both loud and clear. However, the speaker's battery does not seem to retain charge well and requires constant attention.3
Nice sound and works well with iPods but not great for use with iPads. Also, charge is pretty short lived. Was a nice gift in the box but wouldn't buy it as a stand alone item3
It's a fantastic design, beautiful item, but after charging it twice the connections in the back are already loose. We'll see how long it lasts.3
I was surprised when I tried this little guy out for the first time, as it's louder than I anticipated. I also assumed it would be rather tinny (leaning towards highs), but it does a fairly good job at producing bass along with it. The charge seems to hold for about 6 to 8 hours. As of this review, I haven't had any problems with it.3
Coolest looking speaker ever, but the sound quality is not great. Perfect for short trips. Not loud enough or good enough sound quality for longer trips or home use.3
This is an okay product, but as some other reviewers have said, not really worth the price in my opinion. The look seems good in theory, but as a mobile speaker, why would you really want it need to be wooden? Not something I would buy.3
When I got it I thought it was rad. When I used it at the beach I thought it was rad. Small. Easy to use and carry. Perfect to take to the beach. Then I saw how much they cost to buy and I thought. "Its cool but its totally not worth that price. Sound quality just doesn't merit that much money. Getting it for free in my Birchbox was awesome but I'd never buy it.3
