We love using cilantro in the kitchen, but now it has an important role in the bathroom, too. This gentle daily conditioner calls on the leafy greens to refresh all hair types. Formulated without oils or scalp-irritating silicones, it delivers manageable, residue-free hair.
I loved it, great smell, and my hair feels so nice after using!!5
This conditioner leaves your hair so soft and smooth and smells awesome.5
This was really nice. It would have been good to have a shampoo to try out with it but my hair loved this. I loved the smell.4
I really like this conditioner and will generally shampoo every other day, squeeze the water out and then apply this but then not rinse out. I do not have buildup/flakes and it is not greasy. I don't find the scent to be cilantro at all. Difficult to explain it but it's nice and refreshing. I also like the (unisex) packaging quite a bit. If you like deep conditioning, I'd say try using this daily and then using a masque (or heavier conditioner) a few times/week. Recommended!4
I have fine flat hair and this conditions, softens, and adds sheen without weighing it down. The smell is interesting-more like licorice than cilantro- but it compliments the Malin+Goetz Peppermint shampoo very well.4
This conditioner is great for my color-treated normal-dry hair. I have used some highly touted brands recommended for my hair type that left my hair looking dirty after 24-hours, even in cold dry weather, but not this one -- it leaves my hair silky without weighing it down, and smells great.4
I LOVE the peppermint shampoo, but I'm not as sold on this one. It may be because I switched to it after using moroccanoil shampoo/conditioner, but this doesn't feel like it penetrates my hair well. It feels super thick and creamy in my hands, but it doesn't feel that way in my hair. Plus, while my hair does feel pretty good after using the shampoo, it doesn't feel much softer after using the conditioner. Also, my hair (very fine and curly) tangles more easily with this than it has with other conditioners.
On the plus side, this doesn't weigh my hair down at all, which is usually my biggest issue with conditioners. Plus, I don't really like cilantro but I found the smell to be really tolerable, especially after the amazing peppermint shampoo.
I'd say this is a good conditioner to use if you're looking for very lightweight moisture but I wouldn't recommend it if you have super dry hair or like very creamy conditioners.
My husband loves this conditioner. His hair looks amazing and smells great! Since he only has to use a small amount, this bottle will last him a long long time.4
Cilantro seemed kind of odd... and I'll admit, the smell is a little weird when you first use it. But as you lather it into your hair, the smell quickly disappears leaving your hair feeling amazing, hydrated and shiny. Despite the scent, which has definitely grown on me, I would recommend this in conjunction with the Peppermint Shampoo. Can't have one without the other.4
Love all the Malin and Goetz products. The conditioner has a fairly strong and pungent cilantro smell, which may turn some people off. I have straight up curly African American hair, and this has done a good job calming the crazy frizz that sits on my head.4
