With all the attention being paid to your face, the rest of your body is getting a little jealous. And rightly so—your limbs deserve more than a run-of-the-mill body wash. This (MALIN+GOETZ) cleanser is formulated with natural glycerin and bergamot extract to purify skin without any irritation. It works for all skin types.
This soap had a nice smell, though a little masculine and woodsy which would suit my husband more than me. It lathered nicely, and washed off very clean. In all, though, it reminded me a lot of Dr. Bonner's Castille Soap.
While I typically choose items that are natural or organic, this was a little "too natural"!
It's a great bodywash and you feel super clean, without being dry or having a residue still on you when getting out of the shower. However, the scent smells strongly of hot tea and I don't like tea at all. If it was offered in a different scent, then I would buy it.2
The product itself is ok. The scent is too earthy for my tastes and my skin still feels somewhat dry after use.2
I've sampled other body washes through Birchbox that have unusual scents which I liked better than this one. The best aspect of this body wash is the silky lather.2
I actually didn't mind the smell of this product at all and liked how my skin felt after using it. I was considering buying but after using for several consecutive days I noticed my skin was getting dry with no other changes to my routine. Went back to my normal shower wash and now my skin is happy again.2
I really enjoyed this sample. It had a pleasant scent and lathered up nicely. It also left my skin feeling very moisturized. The only down side is the price. I cannot fathom spending $18 for 8 oz of body wash.2
I'm sure it gets me clean, but I don't really like the scent of this product.2
Loved the product, but the fragrance was too peppery for me, especially first thing in the morning.2
Got a sample of this in my April Birchbox. I think this product would appeal to people who don't care for strong smells in your typical body washes... it had a nice soapy scent to it -- nothing too overpowering. Liked the sample, but wasn't crazy enough about it to buy the full sized product. One complaint - the ingredients list on the packaging started rubbing off the moment I got it wet. It was impossible to read what was in the soap, which seemed odd to me.2
The body wash had a nice lather but I did not enjoy the scent at all. I would not buy a full size version of this product.2
