Ease the pain of chapped lips with this Brooklyn-based brand’s all-natural balms. Packaged in a tin not unlike the one that houses your favorite mints, this set of four balms (Peppermint, Cocoa, Cinnamon, and Citrus) is like a beeswax-based buffet. Each flavor soothes dry, cracked mouths without any residue or shine.
This lip balm was ok, nothing special. The cocoa smell was not impressive.3
I really liked the texture of this lip balm and how soft it makes my lips feel. But I received the Cocoa balm and I just can't get over the taste of it.3
The scent was not for me. I think the smell of the cocoa just doesn't appeal to me and it's kind of strong. The other ones I think I may enjoy. I like the feel of the balm, it stays on my lips for a good while. But if you're not a fan of cocoa, then I would suggest any of the other balms.3
When I first applied this product I instantly noticed how great it felt on my lips. It is non-sticky and makes dry lips feel hydrated; however....when I came up to my husband with it on he asked if I had smoked a cigarette (I don't smoke and never have). I received the cocoa scent chapstick and it does slightly resemble the smell of an ashtray. I can't speak for the other scents, but I don't recommend the cocoa one.3
It is a nice product, but it's really just chapstick. There are other lip balm products that I prefer.3
This balm definitely moisturized my lips without the chemical feel of other chapsticks, but I didn't enjoy the smell.3
I got the cocoa sample and I was excited to try it out - everyone loves lip balm! However, it just didn't taste or smell very good, and the texture wasn't good. My lips did not feel moisturized and it rubbed off right away. Definitely not worth $18.3
I received the lip balm in cocoa and it is super moisturizing. I however do not like the scent. I love cocoa but something about the cocoa butter is over powering. I wish I got a different scent and I'd love the product but oh well.3
Other reviewers have mentioned that the more powerful scents overpower the softer scents in the tin. I didn't pay attention to this problem and unfortunately, now I know they were right. The cocoa scent has been completely absorbed into the citrus scent, which is a bit of a gross combination (and the fake scent of cocoa is completely unappealing to me). I would honestly only recommend this to someone interested in a chocolate scented lip balm because it is so strong. The others, that I thought I would enjoy, aren't very strong and have been totally overpowered by the cocoa. The tin/balms are cute, and the lip balm works, but if you're not one for very strong, specific scents, I wouldn't recommend it.2
Lovely balm but the cinnamon is very spicy!
It says it's for sensitive skin but mine is sensitive and this burned.
