Learning to moisturize may be skincare 101, but to graduate to the next level, you need to understand that not all moisturizers are created equal. This green tea-infused hydrator, ideal for medium-to-oily skin, performs a winning balancing act, simultaneously keeping oil in check and wrinkles at bay. The lightweight, easily absorbed formula goes on smooth and leaves skin totally shine-free.
By far one of the best moisturizers I have used. Smells great feels great. Doesn't leave shine or oily feeling spots on my skin, absorbed fast. Thanks Birchbox!5
I had heard good things about this brand so I was excited to see it in my box. This stuff is kind of thick. On my face it doesn't seem like it fully absorbs and actually leaves kind of an oily residue on my skin. I'm sure it's high quality, just doesn't work for me.3
This is the best face moisturizer I've ever used. The gritty yet such touch this product has is incredible. I've never had a product with the balance of the two as well as this one does. I will buy and recommended to everyone I know! Thanks5
I tend to have sensitive skin and it gets especially dry in the winter months from the cold weather and the extremely hot showers. This product is great for moisturizing my dry skin after I shave and/or scrub my face in the morning. It's non-greasy which is great and it's unscented and is gentle enough on my skin that it does not cause me to breakout.5
This stuff is also great on your hands. I work in sales and don't want to smell like lotion while shaking someone's hands! I also don't want my hands to bleed in the winter. This stuff fits the bill perfectly.5
I have found that some lotions will cause my face to sweat when I put on a moisturizer and this one did the same thing. Back to JB Double Duty for me.2
I've never used much moisturizer. Usually what's around is my wife's and the smell is too girly that I won't use it. After a few winter months I saw this and tried it out. I have to say for a moisturizer this is great. It is light (not greasy) moisturizing and the smell is light and unoffensive. I liked it the most of all moisturizing products till I received the Ernest Supplies facial cream. This is good stuff though.4
I agree with other reviewers that it is a little thick, but I haven't had any skin issues because of this. I actually like the thickness and feel like it is good coverage for face and neck. I also use an additional SPF and in combination, it hasn't made my skin feel too heavy or oily.
I will order this again.
I've been using this for a couple weeks now since I ran out of my Kiehl's Facial Fuel moisturizer. So far, Combination Code has been great. It's a solid moisturizer that goes on matte and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. I tend to have oilier skin, so after a while I'll get a bit of a shine. I have noticed that my skin is less prone to getting the occasional zit or two.
My main gripe with this product is the fact that it smells like cheap hotel lotion. I'd prefer something that has no smell at all or something special that makes it feel like it's worth the splurge.
My face loves this stuff! My wind blown skins soaks this stuff up. I would highly recommend for someone with dry, winter skin.5
