Learning to moisturize may be skincare 101, but to graduate to the next level, you need to understand that not all moisturizers are created equal. This green tea-infused hydrator, ideal for medium-to-oily skin, performs a winning balancing act, simultaneously keeping oil in check and wrinkles at bay. The lightweight, easily absorbed formula goes on smooth and leaves skin totally shine-free.
I've never used much moisturizer. Usually what's around is my wife's and the smell is too girly that I won't use it. After a few winter months I saw this and tried it out. I have to say for a moisturizer this is great. It is light (not greasy) moisturizing and the smell is light and unoffensive. I liked it the most of all moisturizing products till I received the Ernest Supplies facial cream. This is good stuff though.4
I agree with other reviewers that it is a little thick, but I haven't had any skin issues because of this. I actually like the thickness and feel like it is good coverage for face and neck. I also use an additional SPF and in combination, it hasn't made my skin feel too heavy or oily.
I will order this again.
I've been using this for a couple weeks now since I ran out of my Kiehl's Facial Fuel moisturizer. So far, Combination Code has been great. It's a solid moisturizer that goes on matte and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy. I tend to have oilier skin, so after a while I'll get a bit of a shine. I have noticed that my skin is less prone to getting the occasional zit or two.
My main gripe with this product is the fact that it smells like cheap hotel lotion. I'd prefer something that has no smell at all or something special that makes it feel like it's worth the splurge.
My face loves this stuff! My wind blown skins soaks this stuff up. I would highly recommend for someone with dry, winter skin.5
It wasn't my favorite sample I've received. It seems to be a very "normal" moisturizer so to say. It was a little thicker, and it actually gave me a couple zits, which surprised me, as normally I have no acne issues.3
This stuff was pretty good, not a lot of residue left on the skin after putting it on. im not a huge lotion fan but i like this and the coola brand one.4
I've never used moisturizer, but I guess I didn't know I needed it. This feels great on my skin and leaves it feeling really soft. I also thought the scent was nice. Would probably buy.5
First time I tried this, I was in love with the scent and the matte finish. After using it for a month, I reordered it to keep a solid supply. Especially good for spring/summer because of how light it is, but it can still do the job in cold weather if you use just a little bit more. Price is totally reasonable compared to similar moisturizers.4
I like the combination of Green Tea and Aloe Vera brings my skin back to life after a night of drinking and indulgence. Fragrance free and great non-greasy texture.
Will be buying more
This is my second favorite moisturizer that I've received. The other stuff is completely sold out so I bought this and have been very happy. I also like the scrub. Also, I have fairly sensitive skin and this was fine on it.4
