If you’re rocking a fragrance inherited from your old man, or relying on a goopy deodorant stick for your olfactory game, it’s time to mix things up. Kick off your new scent strategy with this subtle, summery eau de toilette from Motor City designer John Varvatos. It’s the fragrance equivalent of your favorite jeans and a just-washed tee: classic, cool, and easy-going. Even the packaging—a flask wrapped in hand-woven rattan—exudes laid-back class.
gave to hubby, smelled nice upon application but scent did not linger on skin, fresh scent but nothing that unique3
So I made the mistake of thinking this was for me. The smell seems okay in the tube, but is not that attractive on ... be warned! My husband isn't a huge fan, either; the smell is nice and light, but he thinks it's a bit feminine. Go figure. Seems like there are no winners in this house :(3
The cologne was nice but I thought it was strange to put a product for men in the women's birchbox.3
thought it was woman's perfume and then i realized it was for men! not my favorite but wasn't bad.3
The scent of this cologne is pleasant, not too heavy. I will be giving it to my brother.3
I know this is supposed to be a men's cologne, but that's just advertising in my opinion, and this is subtle and clean enough to be worn by a woman without anybody knowing. I tried this on myself, because my husband isn't that into cologne. I will give it to him to try out anyways. It is very clean, green, and refreshing. Something I would wear in the summer, or a winter day when I wanted to be reminded of summer. I like it, but I don't love it.3
Loved the smell of the calogne, but it is not very masculine smelling. Seems more like a unisex scent than for men.3
I prefer a heavier scent. Not my favorite sample...3
The smell is not bad, but I can't quite decide if I like it. It's definitely not something I would wear.3
In theory, this scent was wonderful. But for some reason, once it was on my skin, it smelled like the cheapest, grandparents' cologne. Perhaps this is just my body chemistry, though.2
